The shirt is cool, the Loki Dorbz is cool and feels high quality, and Morbius is very well known to anyone who's an actual comic reader. Morbius really isn't that obscure. Plus he was featured pretty prominently in the Spider-Man cartoon. His pop looks completely awesome! And I actually really like the Venom keychain. Very happy with this box.
I love the fact that they go deep into marvel to check out villains I loveee it It’s pretty cool that they are doing that because it gets people more into comics and look those characters up
Glad to see that Funko listened to people, regarding packaging (damaged items) and the packaging of the comic book. Even thought it was the one item (Comic book) for me that never got damaged.

Besides always getting a patch, a pin, a shirt, a comic, and at least one pop, the rest is never the same. I love these boxes.

so I got Zombie Morbius and I'm super stoked. for those who believe Morbius is not popular you have to remember this is a marvel collector's box not a marvel as seen on TV Marvek,Marvel's movies, or Marvel themed collector's box. Marvel has huge amount of characters and could have went anywhere with this. they left the super mainstream characters for the other boxes. I think Morbius being less known makes him more valuable to me.
I actually liked the fact it was Morbius because he is a character you would never expect to be made into any main stream collectible because he is a tad obscure. But then again I got zombie Morbius.

Awesome Guys!!!!! Back in the day Villain with Spiderman. Totally agree on the Green Goblin on sled with pumpkin in hand would have set it off. Agree also on the Zombie Morbius it's the better one, cant wait to see whats in my box this weekend.
I loved this box and maybe one of my favorite ones from Marvel Collector Corps. Not sure why so many disliked it and thought it was bad. I guess because it's such a general theme that people's imagination can go crazy and expect different things. I got it with an open mind and loved everything. I like how they did the trifecta of Funko in Pop, Dorbz, and Keychain. Love the Morbius since it's different...won't see that anywhere else I'm sure while there's already been a Carnage, Venom, etc. And too it all fit with it being around Halloween, thus the comic book variant cover and there being a vampire character as the Pop. Overall I loved it. Guess because I loved the 90s Spiderman cartoon I appreciated it more. But just too many villains to pick from that I'm sure someone would get disappointed no matter what.

This box was actually pretty sweet, the cool part to me was that I knew Morbious from the animated Spider-Man series. But also the actor, Tom holland, who will play the new Spider-Man, carved a pumpkin with his face. Maybe alluding to his inclusion in the new Spider-Man movies!
I feel like I am one of the few people who actually really enjoyed the box. I feel like two Pops should be more of a rare occurrence, plus it was nice that they gave us some variety in the items. As for the Pop in this box, I liked it a lot. xD (Though, I certainly wouldn't have said no to a Green Goblin Pop. >>)
It's kinda funny, when i saw villains box announced, i tweeted at MCC that i hoped the pop was something different like Morbius or Red Skull and not the usual Venom or Loki ones, although you are right, Green Goblin would of been nice too.
I received the zombie Morbius but now I have to get the regular one. The character first appeared in the Amazing Spiderman and had his own comic book series in the 70s and then in the 90s. He's one of my favorite characters but I can understand why people don't recognize him.

Ashley Schroader It is a good looking pop with lots of details. It is funny that a vampire has turned into a zombie. lol Although to be fair he turned into a vampire artificially after injecting himself with a serum. That's why he's called the living vampire.
That is quite odd once you think about it! haha. Have you seen Justice League Gods and Monsters? That's almost the same origin of Batman who happens to be a living vampire in the redesign.

This Villians Box Was Really Amazing But Ugh I Have To Go Out of My Way Now to try and get the Zombie Morbius on EBay. Morbius is pretty cool. He came as a villain against dead pool, Ghost Rider and even Spider-Man. Overall Love The Box Review ! Love The Show !
I'm a bigger DC guy, but I know him. Morbius has been around for a LONG time ... probably introduced -early- 1970s, but I get how people might not know him. Having a villain pop in October who's a Vampire seems reasonable.
And people have to remember, there will be plenty of other boxes and Pops to come. No doubt they will do a Spiderman Box, maybe closer to when the new movie comes out. That would be good to do a Green Goblin pop if they don't want to just have one to buy in general. So many good Spiderman villains that even if this box were Spiderman Villains box it would be hard to put so many lol. There's Doctor Octopus, Goblin, Venom, Carnage, Mysterio, Lizard, Scorpion, Electro, Sandman, Rhino, Kingpin, etc...list could go on for a while. Anyway, looking forward to Guardians in December. :)

My mouth dropped that you guys didn't know who Morbius was. I got the zombie Morbius. I thought you guys would have remembered him from the 90's spiderman cartoon. He actually had to be called the living vampire when he was created in the 70's because the comic code back them didn't allow vampires in comics.
Honestly never really watched spiderman back then. Marvel was never my thing. Although I feel like I might have seen him once in the xmen series.... I don't know maybe not.
Morbius appears in the 12 part Spiderman epic "Maximum Carnage" from the early 90s. I too got regular Morbius and am thinking more people would prefer the zombified version.
Hey guys, not sure if you already know about it or not but you should check out Pop In A Box, its a subscription service that gives you a random pop that you don't already own and you can like and dislike certain pops to make sure you get the ones you want, I think it would be really cool to see you guys make videos on this. :D
I got the zombie pop and it's got a lot of sculpted detail as apposed to the base morbius. I think people were expecting two pops because last box we got the complete set instead of one or the other.
I haven't read any Marvel comics since the mid-eighties, but Morbius was very cool when he first came out in the early seventies. Check out Spider-man 101 or any of the black & white horror magazines he was in, great anti-hero.
Finally got my box Love the shirt! Favorite shirt so far! Morbius was a weird choice. Maybe because of Halloween? Like the Loki Dorb. Would have preferred it to be a Pop. Also like the Venom pocket pop but would have preferred it to be full sized of course haha. Thought it was a good box. If you switched out Morbius with Green Goblin or full sized Venom or Loki pop would have made this box awesome!
Carnage would have been so sick too!!! Maybe they over thought them selves with Morbius and Halloween maybe or they're gonna do another villains box soon.

I am a first time marvel collectors corps costumer, and my box got messed up and I got a zombie morbius and they called to recall it, I also got that Loki but I'm sure everybody got it.
I don't know who Morbius is either. 😂 I'm more excited about the Loki Dorbz than the exclusive Pop. I'm gonna have to take to eBay to get him! And you guys have no idea how loud I gasped when I saw the Batwoman Bombshell statue in the background. I'm going straight to my closest comic book store in the morning and getting her!

Well, I guess we have to take it that they meant the pocket pop as one of the pops... since they said one Pop! would be a character they've never created before. Both versions of Morbius would fit this...Oh well. I only vaguely remember him. Overall an okay box...even though I got the plain one...
"usually You´re getting 2 Pops"? Yeah, this is the 4rth box. First one had a 6", second one technically one normal pop, since You can hardly count the tiny Ant-Man. Third Box had 2 Pops. So, where did that "People are used to getting 2 Pops" come from? I just don´t get it. There was a Dorbz in the first box, Mystery Minis in the second. Only the third box kinda didn´t give alot a variety at all, since it only had 2 Pops, and not much else. People shouldn´t be dissappointed with that box. I´d have prefered a more colourfull shirt or even a neat Venom-Funko Pop Tee... Still I think noone has the right to complain about not getting the "right" stuff in that box, since there´s no "ususally you get" for this yet. That´s somethine we can talk again about in a Year. Everyone was hoping for a Green Goblin. Maybe even as a ride. But they got Morbius, which is a Spidey-Villain and a key element of the Marvel Zombies Comic. It´s a little bummer, that they threw in the chance-factor with the variant, but remember the Avengers-box? There they had such a random factor too... but with the Shirt. Expectations were to high for this box. And that´s the biggest problem, the community had. Content was actually amazing. Just not what people expected to see. I´d be very upset to see too many people complain about the box, so Funko will put 2 Pops and nothing much else in every box from now on. I´d love to see a ride, a mopeez, a fabrication and even a whacky wobbler in one of those. More Minis too...
It's not so much what has been in it prior but more that the claim 2 pops would be in this one. Either way we don't really care. If your under the assumption we didn't like this box your wrong. It was a really good box. Loved the shirt, dorb and pop, we just aren't familiar with the character. We like the fact they are pulling characters that might be unknown.
+Nerd Therapy Don´t get me wrong. I know You enjoyed it. This was more about the expectations of the larger community that gets that MCC. They expected something different. You actually said it Yourself a few times. I just found it interesting to mention, that even You said: "Usually You´re getting 2 Pops", since that´s been only the case once. And that tease they had by using the words: "One of the pops will be something we´ve never done before" truly was really misleading, but again... techniacally the "mini" is also called Pop. Anyway, It´s a great box, but people shouldn´t start to be expecting specific items just yet. I am sure, we´ll see alot of boxes only having one Pop, but Fabrications, Mopeez oder other stuff Funko throws at us. they´re actually are realy forcing Dorbz on everyone right now, don´t You think? We´ll see alot of those in the future.
Yeah i think the comment we made about "usually having more than one pop" is just because we mashed everything together. Last month two pops, the insinuation on twitter this one would have 2 and the Smugglers bounty. It was just an accident. lol We get a lot of boxes and sometimes they all get squeezed together. I don't think we should expect 2 every month. I would like to possibly see a vinyl idol or maybe a pop ride in the future. The dorbz don't bother us because we like them but it is pretty apparent not everyone shares the feeling. Might be a mistake on funkos part who knows. We aren't huge fans of Marvel other than x men and captain America so this pop character wasn't thrilling for us but i know when the dc box comes we would love to get some random odd characters in the box that might not be made otherwise. Your definitely right about expectations being high for this box. It was a villain theme which usually sets a very high standard. I definitely understand the Vampire connection however, i think it just fell short for most fans considering the boxes past. "Somewhat" Marvel fans like ourselves were looking for a "popular" villain that hasn't been made yet meanwhile "extreme" marvel fans or at least Spiderman fans were left satisfied. There really is no winning combination for Funko.They might always need to revert to a "popular" character to appease both sides. Although personally, we like the obscure. Either way everyone is entitled to their opinion good or bad.Its still a great box every month no matter the contents.Funko always gives you the value.

I got the Zombie Morbius most of my friends received the Regular one. The Zombie apparently is the hard one to come by.
My mouth dropped that you guys didn't know who Morbius was. I got the zombie Morbius. I thought you guys would have remembered him from the 90's spiderman cartoon. He actually had to be called the living vampire when he was created in the 70's because the comic code back them didn't allow vampires in comics.
Honestly never really watched spiderman back then. Marvel was never my thing. Although I feel like I might have seen him once in the xmen series.... I don't know maybe not.
Morbius appears in the 12 part Spiderman epic "Maximum Carnage" from the early 90s. I too got regular Morbius and am thinking more people would prefer the zombified version.

I got the zombie pop and it's got a lot of sculpted detail as apposed to the base morbius. I think people were expecting two pops because last box we got the complete set instead of one or the other.
Yeah overall just a lot of miscommunication. Either way we are happy. Wouldn't mind getting a dorb and pop every box either!
I haven't read any Marvel comics since the mid-eighties, but Morbius was very cool when he first came out in the early seventies. Check out Spider-man 101 or any of the black & white horror magazines he was in, great anti-hero.

Like the Loki Dorb. Would have preferred it to be a Pop. Also like the Venom pocket pop but would have preferred it to be full sized of course haha.
Thought it was a good box. If you switched out Morbius with Green Goblin or full sized Venom or Loki pop would have made this box awesome!

This service is ridiculous it's $25 for people in America which is like £15 in the UK but to get it in the UK with shipping it comes to over £40 which is about $60 lootcrate and other boxes can ship worldwide for free why can't one of the biggest companies in the world? It's just unfair

It was a different box. It was hyped too much. Morbius is a neat pop but not popular. Can't wait for next months box! GOTG! Great review guys.

I haven't read any of the comics. I did dabble in it a little bit with in an All New X--Men crossover, but my husband ensures that it's very good.
I am a first time marvel collectors corps costumer, and my box got messed up and I got a zombie morbius and they called to recall it, I also got that Loki but I'm sure everybody got it.
Ha they had sent me two boxes but I only paid for one. So I had gotten the normal morbius and zombie one

It's more that it was stated 2 pops in the box and they were counting the pocket pop. That's whats throwing people off

Well, I guess we have to take it that they meant the pocket pop as one of the pops... since they said one Pop! would be a character they've never created before. Both versions of Morbius would fit this...Oh well. I only vaguely remember him. Overall an okay box...even though I got the plain one...
"usually You´re getting 2 Pops"? Yeah, this is the 4rth box. First one had a 6", second one technically one normal pop, since You can hardly count the tiny Ant-Man. Third Box had 2 Pops. So, where did that "People are used to getting 2 Pops" come from? I just don´t get it. There was a Dorbz in the first box, Mystery Minis in the second. Only the third box kinda didn´t give alot a variety at all, since it only had 2 Pops, and not much else.
People shouldn´t be dissappointed with that box. I´d have prefered a more colourfull shirt or even a neat Venom-Funko Pop Tee... Still I think noone has the right to complain about not getting the "right" stuff in that box, since there´s no "ususally you get" for this yet. That´s somethine we can talk again about in a Year.
Everyone was hoping for a Green Goblin. Maybe even as a ride. But they got Morbius, which is a Spidey-Villain and a key element of the Marvel Zombies Comic. It´s a little bummer, that they threw in the chance-factor with the variant, but remember the Avengers-box? There they had such a random factor too... but with the Shirt.
Expectations were to high for this box. And that´s the biggest problem, the community had. Content was actually amazing. Just not what people expected to see.
I´d be very upset to see too many people complain about the box, so Funko will put 2 Pops and nothing much else in every box from now on. I´d love to see a ride, a mopeez, a fabrication and even a whacky wobbler in one of those. More Minis too...
It's not so much what has been in it prior but more that the claim 2 pops would be in this one. Either way we don't really care. If your under the assumption we didn't like this box your wrong. It was a really good box. Loved the shirt, dorb and pop, we just aren't familiar with the character. We like the fact they are pulling characters that might be unknown.
+Nerd Therapy Don´t get me wrong. I know You enjoyed it. This was more about the expectations of the larger community that gets that MCC. They expected something different. You actually said it Yourself a few times. I just found it interesting to mention, that even You said: "Usually You´re getting 2 Pops", since that´s been only the case once. And that tease they had by using the words: "One of the pops will be something we´ve never done before" truly was really misleading, but again... techniacally the "mini" is also called Pop. Anyway, It´s a great box, but people shouldn´t start to be expecting specific items just yet. I am sure, we´ll see alot of boxes only having one Pop, but Fabrications, Mopeez oder other stuff Funko throws at us. they´re actually are realy forcing Dorbz on everyone right now, don´t You think? We´ll see alot of those in the future.
Yeah i think the comment we made about "usually having more than one pop" is just because we mashed everything together. Last month two pops, the insinuation on twitter this one would have 2 and the Smugglers bounty. It was just an accident. lol We get a lot of boxes and sometimes they all get squeezed together. I don't think we should expect 2 every month. I would like to possibly see a vinyl idol or maybe a pop ride in the future. The dorbz don't bother us because we like them but it is pretty apparent not everyone shares the feeling. Might be a mistake on funkos part who knows. We aren't huge fans of Marvel other than x men and captain America so this pop character wasn't thrilling for us but i know when the dc box comes we would love to get some random odd characters in the box that might not be made otherwise. Your definitely right about expectations being high for this box. It was a villain theme which usually sets a very high standard. I definitely understand the Vampire connection however, i think it just fell short for most fans considering the boxes past. "Somewhat" Marvel fans like ourselves were looking for a "popular" villain that hasn't been made yet meanwhile "extreme" marvel fans or at least Spiderman fans were left satisfied. There really is no winning combination for Funko.They might always need to revert to a "popular" character to appease both sides. Although personally, we like the obscure. Either way everyone is entitled to their opinion good or bad.Its still a great box every month no matter the contents.Funko always gives you the value.
