    To be honest the lens I love the most is a used cheap 50mm F1.8 on a 5D MK2 that I also bought used.
    Sometimes used lenses or camera gear is the way to go and not ruin yourself.

      Sony is amazing! Makes such a sharp image! If you're looking to do Photography Mainly though I'd suggest the A7iii or A7R cameras as the a7S series are pushed more towards VIDEO shooters and the MP count for photos is a lot less. Cheers!

      I wouldn't advise going with the a7siii if you are taking photos. you're better off going with the a7riv instead.

      If you're gonna be uploading content anywhere online, the SIII is fine, 12mp is totally fine for Instagram. But, no need to spend $3500 when you can spend $1700 on the A7III and use the left over money for some nice glass.

    I switched from Canon DSLR's to a single APS-C camera the Sony A6600, and I love it with its IBIS, 4K, Big Battery, its almost perfect its tops out at 1/4000 sec but I can live with that.
    Before the C19 came along I was doing lots of car and motorcycle events, travel photography and using two cameras now I'm writing more and not as much photography the a6600 fits my needs perfectly and dropping close to 12 lbs of weight (2 bodies, lenses and flash) is a big plus as well
    I also use a Lum cube for my lighting needs all this new tech is fun.
    Those Yamaha MT09 is an awesome motorcycle that triple puts out some nice torque.
    MT stands for Masters of Torque. If you like Anime Yamaha put out some videos a few years ago called the Masters of Torque.

    Hey do I need to use an adaptor to use SIGMA glass on my Sony A7III? After watching your video was planning on getting the SIGMA 30mm F1.4 or the SIGMA 18-35mm F1.8, which do you recommend for car videography/photography 📸🔥

    • @TheCarCreative
      @TheCarCreative  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you’re only going to buy 1, get the 18-35 because its way more versatile. Depends on the camera body you have if you need an adapter. Just check in on your mount and what the lens mount you’re buying is and make sure they line up. Thanks for watching!

    • @BurningBroadcast
      @BurningBroadcast 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Those being APS-C lenses, I wouldnt get those at all for A7 III, get full frame lenses to actually take benefit from your A7 III. Good glass is far more important than the body.
      You want the Sony 16-35 FE lens. Or adapted get a Canon EF 17-40 F4, 16-35 F4 or F2.8 with the Sigma MC-11 adapter.

    • @jeepjoseph9036

    So you cant use a sigma lens on a sony without using the adapter? Im looking tu buy the sigma 35 or sony 85,sony 35. Idk what the best choice would be.

    • @TheCarCreative
      @TheCarCreative  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sigma also makes native Sony e mount glass! I just use the adapter because I also shoot on canon cinema cameras. But you can definitely get native glass! Check into it! 35mm lens is hands down the best lens I’ve ever used.

      The Car Creative wow that was a fast reply! Ty! I definitely will try it! But you think it would be a good upgrade? Ive been using the 28mm and so far it has given me crazy good results so upgrading to a 35mm +7mm difference is worth the buy?

    • @TheCarCreative
      @TheCarCreative  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      jangelgzn oh... hmmm I mean, ya I dunno if 7mm is worth it 🤷🏻‍♂️ if it were me I probably wouldn’t unless I had all the money haha. You could rent one? Try it out and see if you like the results?

    I'm so glad that you mentioned the 24-105. That's also my daily lens (atm the only one i got xD) and i think for a zoom lens it is very versatile to use, even if it has only F4, it still gives you a very nice bokeh. Also good if your shooting has to be very fast and you don't have the time to switch lenses, but want to use different focal lenghts.

    Hey! Great content as always... What settings did you use for the moving bike footage? I do motocross photography and recently started practicing video but I'm not overly happy with the focus (sharpness) whether it's AF/MF, Wide/Zone etc.

  • @KevinBein

    I used to shoot almost everything with my Sigma 18-35 and 50-100. I loved those lenses, those two were my tag team duo, and I felt like between the two of them I could do almost anything.... However I recently upgraded to a Full frame mirrorless camera and now I feel lost on what glass to upgrade to next. I would love to get some native lenses, but they are crazy money. I feel like I'll probably keep my 18-35 because even though it is ridiculously vignetted for photos, when shooting video it crops the sensor and it's still makes for a great lens to have. The 50-100 on the other hand, while I absolutely loved it too, is just too long of a focal length for most video work, and is so massive and heavy that I really don't have the same reservations about letting it go. Unfortunately there's noting out there as versatile and fast for a full frame camera right now to replace it. So now I am looking at primes, and I am running into the money issue again. To replace that 50-100 on a FF camera I would basically need at least 3 $1000+ prime lenses... I think I might just need a cheaper hobby.

      Because of the crop factor the 18-35 and the 50-100 were both 2.7 equivalents. Get a 24-70 2.8 and a 70-200 2.8

    Love the video! I’ve been using a Sony a6500 with Sony Zeiss 16-70mm f4 lens and I love it! Definitely looking to move to full frame in the future but for the cost I think it’s a good setup (would still love a lower aperture lens)

    Hello, I use the Sony A7ii with the Sigma Art 35mm f1.4. Also I just bought the Sony FE 50mm f1.8 (because it is cheap) what I can say is, the Sigma es sharper, gives you the special mood and it so much more fun and comfortable to edit aswell. But at the end, the Sony 50mm gives you much more real look of the car. My M3 looks wider and more real with the Sony. You definetly can guess the difference from the fat arches of the M3. With the Sigma it looks thinner and smaller... if you want, you can check my photo's on my IG accoun @frozensilverm3

      That nifty 50 is a great place to start! If you're on a crop sensor camera it will be more like an 80mm which is also nice! You can check out my review on the 50mm 1.8 also!
