My clearest Tama memory is when I was like 8 or 10 and I went to the ROM with my dad, but I wasn't allowed to bring my Tama. It died, but I didn't know that there was an reset button. I buried it. Somewhere, in my backyard, it's still there. When archeologists dig up whatever my backyard becomes hundreds of years from now, I hope they find it and it goes to the museum.
I immediately knew this wasn't gonna go smoothly haha whenever I run tamas I always carry them around with me on a lanyard...the idea of running every one at once is so stressful!
also interesting that some might not actually die in their young stages! when I was a kid I'd take them out during lunch and have an entire screen full of poo and I've always wondered how they didn't die, I wonder if that's the case!
Back when it was first popular in the states, my grandmother bought tamagotchis for my two younger brothers and a tamagotchi angel for me (I assume because I was a girl?) I remember being a bit annoyed, like the angel wasn't a "real tamagotchi" or something, plus I was tired of getting the "girl" version of everything. I was surprised to learn years later that the Angel was a more difficult to find version, though I was never able to play it again, because our tamagotchis have all mysteriously disappeared and have been lost for years. I still go through boxes of things at my parents' house sometimes and look for them, I kinda miss it. I also remember when they developed a smartphone version that simulated the original tamagotchi and the angel, but they stopped supporting it soon after releasing it. The angel version was rather broken. I can't believe it's taken bandai so long to give us an english tamagotchi with a color screen. I kinda feel like getting into the new ones, it looks like fun!
I never got into these because I remember kids getting in so much trouble for these going off in class. Like I couldn't handle something so high matinence 😂

My Japanese accent is COMPLETELY different to my normal Australian (with apparently heavy American) accent. I'd love for them do more Digimon stuff in the states. I only just recently learned Digimon was made as a "male" Tamagotchi franchise. I was never one for Tamagotchi, but I'd totally attempt it if I could raise a Digimon or however the heck they did the Digimon toys.
You should try getting the newer releases then for convenience sake, as they're much more easier to raise with a faster growth rate. The Digimon Ver.20th has your basic Digimon vpet needs with some new added features, while the Digimon X acts more like a key chain game, much more harder to raise.

Got two tamas back to back (both where at the same pawn shop, and they're models that aren't in my country that where clearly owned by the same person so of course is had too) the day after I get a digimon and legit all I can think of is 'Tamagotchi battle royal.'
One of my friends found their parents' old tamagotchi and they let me have it. It was in, like, the worst possible condition. The pixels weren't showing up so I had to ethier squint to see them or tip the tamagotchi sideways and the buttons would not respond unless I shoved down the button with my finger until there was an imprint on my thumb or use a mini screw driver to play with it. I mean, it's still playable and i still have but it's not in good condition.
Anyone else with the Connection V5 where you have three guys at the same time AND YOU CAN'T PAUSE???? I gave up on that one within like a day when I got it lol. Maybe I should try to play it again now when I'm just at home anywaýs ?

If you're struggling with the catching flowers game, twins are overpowered. It literally doubles your catching zone, so it's much easier to get higher scores that way. :)

Yes! There is so much to explore. I would suggest looking up the content from each version first just to make sure you like the characters. (if you look into the on/meets) Or if you're waiting for the pix the preorder is up now but they plan to release a green and blue shell design later and there will be a lot of content made about them right after release and you can see if it's something you're interested in.
If you're getting the English versions I say yes they're worth it. However if you want the newer Japanese versions they are all pretty much $75+ USD which is insane.
