I found two of my childhood tamagotchis back in january and it sparked an urge to start collecting in me too. So far I’ve gone from having 2 to having 22 lol
You have to find the right case for your Tamagotchi Pix.. the first silicone case I ordered for it did that because it was made too tight of a fit.. I bought one from another company and the case is larger and doesn’t rest on the camera shutter at all and allows it to sit exactly the same as if it didn’t have a case on. 😊
I am currently running 3. The 3 remakes of Gen1, Gen2 and the Connections. Really loving it, but I managed to raise darlings who doesn't fuss much, so checking them once an hour or so and it's all good :D
I also don't used a case on my pix for the same reason! I also got mine used on ebay. I kinda like the idea of getting used tamagotchis, like adopting a pet lol. Also, changing the faceplate on the uni is a really simple/risk free way of customising it. I used the tape method to swap mine out and it looks worlds better.
omg adopting tamagotchis, i ADORE this! i might have to look at a tutorial then, thank you! i havent really looked too much into the "how" to be fair, i just saw a couple people cause some damage and i am clumsy enough to worry that it'll be me too 🫣
Trying to decide whether to invest and preorder the angel uni, didn’t get the uni when it came out so deeeeply considering it 😂 Love the tamagotchi content
i've been considering adding the angel uni to the collection myself as well! 👀 it's SO pretty (i'd take a lot better care of that one), but the monster uni is also awesome 😭
❗️I came to this Video because you appeared in a BBC News article I was reading. I never had a proper Tamagotchi but did have two Virtual Pets in mid-1997, a cheapo £10 one I saw in a TV Guide and then the clear yellow Cat Giga Pets (m.th-cam.com/video/VQi_YrCUNrg/w-d-xo.html). I was kinda tempted to get one for old times sake but Pokémon Sword and Go! kinda fill that need of looking after-ish digital creatures. PS: I love the Wii music in the background.

i will never not recommend a uni! reasonably easy to care for, they get software updates, and the events are fun!
