When I was a kid and I went to this level I would stare at those blinking trees and I'd never go up there. I would always just camp out down there with the pink chicken. Lol
This and the credits song used to give me goosebumps in a good way :) (and still they do). Playing Spyro was prolly my best moments in childhood, talking about geeking out in early days... I still enjoy the games, especially these old classics!
>Misty Bog music kicks in for E3 audience >Audience are bewildered by the familiar music >Sony executives announcing Spyro HD Trilogy Remaster at E3 2017 on stage >Crowd goes wild.
I cried my eyes out when I got eaten by those freaky trees when I was little...it still makes me jump to this day. Beast Makers and Dream Weavers had some pretty freaky levels...
Seriously, whenever I go months without touching a Spyro game, I'll be quick to remember that the games were easy, and even be quick to tell people that they were easy, but I forget it had enemies like these attack frogs, it does offer a good amount of challenge by the 2nd half, all 3 games do in fact by their last few homeworlds, I think I've just replayed them too many times to not have the games memorized.
Dragon: Be on a look out for a attack frog, their cold blood killers Spyro:Attack........frog Dragon: And this used be a nice swam........ Dragon disappear xD
The eating trees... I used to want to call the weasels. I cannot explain why, but those weasels snuck up on me every time as a Child and I was trying to figure out how to play through that one DANG level, and it used to be extremely tricky for me as a Child!
This was the most annoying level in the game, that part where you fly to some steps go through a cave and have to fight like 10 frogs would kill me atleast 10 times a run.
Spyro 1 was the last Spyro game I got, years later after 2 and 3 and A Hero's Tail. So it was quite the surprise when I first got into this level . "So THAT is where the credits music comes from!" was my first thought.
The drums and the bass is what hypes me the most when i listen to this. Makes me think of spyro charging bad guys in slow motion in some misty forest. Ahh Ah it's so badass
I love this song! It brings back so many memories ^w^ As for this level, it was the frogs that I ABSELOUTELY hated. As the trees/plants charged me, they'd hop behind me and attack, and if I turned to get the frog, the tree would eat an' chew me. XP
This level got the best glow up in reignited Probably my favourite level now, its challangening, it looks amazing, the music is an absolute banger Chefs kiss👌
Aside from the attack trees and pesky frogs I know I can’t be the only one that would line up those charging pigs with other enemies man it felt so good watching him mow down the last group of frogs!
Zeke: Thank you for releasing me! Spyro: Anytime! Zeke: .... Spyro: So.... any tips I need to know? Like watch out for Pigs instuff? Zeke: Nope! Just saying thanks! Spyro: Your welcome....
Ditto. Remember just wondering what they would do to me, so I came up to them..... *shivers* I swear, didn't play Spyro for a week after that. Then next time I did it, I pressed Circle on impulse, and I was like 'Hah. You got nothing on me now.' :D
i went to see paranormal activity 2 last night, then had to walk home through streets only lit by moonlight alone. now it wasnt particularly scary but i kept hearing things making me jump. The only way i got home without freaking was by playing this theme over and over in my head :P
I love it when that dragon was telling Spyro to "stomp" and "squash" the foes in this world, and Spyro replied, "Uh, how about just charging and flaming them? We are dragons, after all..."
When I was a kid i was disturbed by enemies that eat you. Every time I got to the Beastmakers I would do everything in my power to skip this level because of how freaked out I was by those Trees. (The Frogs were cute though.)
That one room inside the giant tree with all those stupid frogs was annoying as hell, especially when you were trying to play through the game without dying.....
Nah, bro... To this very day I still have very vivid dreams that I'm living out the original Spyro PS1 games, although the different elements and parts of all the levels are mixed together because they're dreams! lol They're always lots of fun when I have those dreams, really colorful and trippy too! lol ;) Usually the dreams I have resemble the very first game more strongly than any of the other ones, though.
I think the Killer Frog was one of hardest enemies in the game. There is a part in this level that has a cave full of them, I lost so many lives there..
I hated those plant things that shook. Always scared the crap out of me, especially when I could hear the shaking but couldn't see where it was coming from.
@AMORDEGENERATE Yeah, I used to have a fear of this level because of those plant things when I was a kid and avoided it. But now I'm a bit older, It's one of my favourite levels.
that one room where theres alot of frogs and armored gnorcs is the worst requires some sick ninja skills to get through it all
Speaking of frogs those guys had a great croak.
Well, you know...they're cold-blooded killers!
Let's not forget the squirrel bushes that eat spyro
I hated that part
agreed lmfao
When I was a kid and I went to this level I would stare at those blinking trees and I'd never go up there. I would always just camp out down there with the pink chicken. Lol
It's nice when you realize this is a rowdier remix of the credits song (which played in the demo version of Stone Hill)
This and the credits song used to give me goosebumps in a good way :) (and still they do). Playing Spyro was prolly my best moments in childhood, talking about geeking out in early days... I still enjoy the games, especially these old classics!
God this level was a pain in the ass....
those goddamn frogs!
Not as bad as the Tree Tops.
This music was worth it
Well said.
>Misty Bog music kicks in for E3 audience
>Audience are bewildered by the familiar music
>Sony executives announcing Spyro HD Trilogy Remaster at E3 2017 on stage
>Crowd goes wild.
Better make that right now!
And this used to be such a nice swamp...
Those trees scared me as a kid D: mean bastards!
l found those frogs to be cute. Kind a sort a.
fuck the frogs
those gnorcs lining up and you charge them. so satisfying
Anyone still scared of the Trees
yep, those and the spiders from high caves hahah
The frogs are scarier. I lost so many lives on those damn frogs.
When I was young I skipped this level, because of those creepy trees.
i'm not
Oh yeah, I rather go very slow, lol :S
The official theme song of Spyro
I didn't even notice that until I bought the remake.
The credit version is all nice 'n calm 'n peaceful while the Misty Bog version freaks the crap outta ya! All because of those trees!
And those dam frogs I hate those frogs
I love the music's intensity. It fits the level's difficulty perfectly! Btw this theme is better than the credits version.
Nah credit song way better
THAT BOAR SCARED THE LIFE OUT OF ME WHEN IT CHARGED THROUGH THE GNORCS.
I always found it useful getting the boars to do that.
Matt Hirsh Yes it is. But I was not expecting it the f irst time.
I cried my eyes out when I got eaten by those freaky trees when I was little...it still makes me jump to this day. Beast Makers and Dream Weavers had some pretty freaky levels...
I used to have nightmares of those tree things eating me alive like they would do with Spyro.
Omg, i remember playing this stage.. I once played the stage, and when i saw those trees....
I think i NEVER played that stage again. Trauma for life!
The frogs were annoying. The gnorcs, trees, and boars were tolerable but not the frogs.
Be on the lookout for attack frogs there cold blooded killers!
@@matthewbuckley7757 “Attack… frogs…?”
@@Matt_0716 And this used to be such a nice swamp.
WOW..... I remember this stage! I haven't played this game in forever!
One of the most memorable music from the game
Forever love Stewart Copeland for making this music.
Dragon: Be on a look out for a attack frog, their cold blood killers
Spyro:Attack........frog
Dragon: And this used be a nice swam........
Dragon disappear xD
the only thing that scared me as a kid were those big metal spiders in the high caves world
Wero Yukari You mean the ones you can't really kill unless you super charge?
I remember playing High Caves when I had a fever as a child and having a panic attack because those spiders were so terrifying and I was delirious :')
Or a fairy's kiss.
:(
Favorite theme of this game. Also I loved the level as a kid as it's a bit more challenging and with that misty lake atmosphere.
Those plants scared the crap out of me xD
Those frogs...Those goddamn frogs....
This stage did creep me out, i was afraid of going ahead but a few weeks i got use to it. It says welcome to hell.
Misty Bog in the remake is just “Bog” considering the “Misty” part is completely gone.
I always thought Tree Tops was the best level when I was super young. Playing again, this level takes the cake.
hardest level in the game!
great music, thanks for the upload.
So many memories with this song.
RIP original Spyro, death to any of his remakes after DoD.
"be on the look out for attack frogs!"
Hardest "normal" enemies in the game by far.
"They're cold blooded killers!"
"And this used to be a nice swamp."
Attack...frogs?
Attack...frogs?
Those plants always scared me. Plus those hogs reminded me of the ones in molten crater
0:41 is the fucking best riff in the entire soundtrack! This, Magic Crafters, and Dry Canyon.
“I’ll tell you what to do with those creatures. Smash them Spyro! Stamp them out and squish them and squash them, hahaha!”
Ha. Ha. How about charge them and flame them? We are dragons after all.
How was a fun to send the enemies (on purpose) in the water!
I like when the guard was sleeping and when he caught the chicken , he was happy . But I couldn't stand them Damn frogs .
I was playing on Cliff town earlier, and after the music looping many times, the song changed to this.
The eating trees... I used to want to call the weasels. I cannot explain why, but those weasels snuck up on me every time as a Child and I was trying to figure out how to play through that one DANG level, and it used to be extremely tricky for me as a Child!
Yeah, same here.
Them damn frogs!
i know right? modafuckas.. they lick even when charging
Erfierazgz b0ss I couldn't stand them muphuckaz
I couldn't avoid them!
Those attacking frogs remind me always with lurkers from resident evil 0 can attack the enemy for far distance
@@theskull4106 ON EVERYTHING!!! 💯❤💯
This was the most annoying level in the game, that part where you fly to some steps go through a cave and have to fight like 10 frogs would kill me atleast 10 times a run.
Those frogs were hilarious, with their hopping around, and their croak.
1:13 Has a Bali-ish, Indonesia-ish Southeast Asian touch.
Spyro 1 was the last Spyro game I got, years later after 2 and 3 and A Hero's Tail. So it was quite the surprise when I first got into this level . "So THAT is where the credits music comes from!" was my first thought.
@chimera94
What about what Spyro says in Tree Tops?
"You could have found an easier spot to get stuck!
The drums and the bass is what hypes me the most when i listen to this. Makes me think of spyro charging bad guys in slow motion in some misty forest. Ahh Ah it's so badass
brilliant and perfect soundtrack
i can still hear those attack frogs after all these years lol
I love this song! It brings back so many memories ^w^
As for this level, it was the frogs that I ABSELOUTELY hated. As the trees/plants charged me, they'd hop behind me and attack, and if I turned to get the frog, the tree would eat an' chew me. XP
this level was very diffcult for me when I was a kid .. great track btw
+luca9019_qc i mean for gettin all the gems
This level got the best glow up in reignited
Probably my favourite level now, its challangening, it looks amazing, the music is an absolute banger
Chefs kiss👌
This level had the hardest enemies in the game. Those POS frogs meing. Also the low amount of health in this level didn't help either.
YouAllSuck5000, you're my hero for uploading these, thanks :D
The fucking memories are all coming back, damn I wished my PS1 worked properly D=
Oh god i think we all can agree the enemies were the most hated thing in this level
The trees...
THE TREES!!!!
*Horrifying Flashbacks*
When I was a kid I wanted to live in the spyro world.
Ditto. Remember just wondering what they would do to me, so I came up to them..... *shivers* I swear, didn't play Spyro for a week after that. Then next time I did it, I pressed Circle on impulse, and I was like 'Hah. You got nothing on me now.' :D
Yeah I still remember that room with about 6 enemies in it, that was treacherous.
thanks to this music all the original spyro trilogy credits were as awesome as the games themselves
(BTW, i hated those attack frogs)
God I hope the remastered soundtrack gets this one right.
Woe is us, the midislap oozes like pus.
i got mine 10 years ago and it still works perfectly. lol!
The frogs were a pain in the ass. They attack instantly as soon I'm 1 pixel into their range.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who was scared of those tree things as a kid
Owww... Right in the Childhood
Good Ol' Playstation 1 Era :)
Hardest enemies in the game were the frogs in this level.
Those damn frogs
I love this song! :D my favorite stage too! My favorite Dragons too!
I loved throw enemies in the water :D
Same here
This is actually about to make it on my ipod >_>
The place I buy games is a few miles away and I cycle.
I'm gonna need some riding music when SRT comes out.
Am I the only one who thinks this song sounds similar to the credits theme?
CrashBandicootFreak yeah it is!! =D
+CrashBandicootFreak It basically is but with renewed instruments, the actual notes are pretty much identical
+CrashBandicootFreak It basically is but with renewed instruments, the actual notes are pretty much identical
+CrashBandicootFreak In a sense, you can say that the credits theme is a remix of this track.
Nikka A [CBF] You're not the only one. It's also remixed in the second game
i went to see paranormal activity 2 last night, then had to walk home through streets only lit by moonlight alone. now it wasnt particularly scary but i kept hearing things making me jump. The only way i got home without freaking was by playing this theme over and over in my head :P
I love it when that dragon was telling Spyro to "stomp" and "squash" the foes in this world, and Spyro replied, "Uh, how about just charging and flaming them? We are dragons, after all..."
@TheAntimonyElement
Lol, when I was kid I used to think their tounges looked like Fruit-Rollups too...Actually, I thought they really WERE :P
I think I want this song played at my funeral proceedings lmaoo it is THAT GOOD!!!
The start is so awesome
those plant things nearly scared me to death
but i laughed at the squashing sound when they die
When I was a kid i was disturbed by enemies that eat you. Every time I got to the Beastmakers I would do everything in my power to skip this level because of how freaked out I was by those Trees. (The Frogs were cute though.)
That one room inside the giant tree with all those stupid frogs was annoying as hell, especially when you were trying to play through the game without dying.....
those were the hardest enemies in the game. They still give me trouble.
Okay...am I seriously the only one who had some crazy as hell dreams of Spyro such as different levels and a weird ass space level when I was littler?
Not to mention those carnivorous brussel sprouts!
yep the tree like things scares me :(
I would of loved to have played Spyro looking like the cover on the ps3.
“Be on the lookout for attack frogs. They’re cold blooded killers.”
"Attack…frogs?"
“And this used to be such a nice swamp.”
My first video game too. I was 3 (yeah i swear to god,3) and I used to be so scared of those kinda brown rabbit head thingies that chased you lol
THOSE
DAMNED
FROGS
lol to me this actualy has a bit of the ending theme music in it lol.
If Spyro gets into smash as the first character for fighter pass volume 2,I want to see this song in his reveal trailer
I think the Killer Frog was one of hardest enemies in the game. There is a part in this level that has a cave full of them, I lost so many lives there..
You were scared of that plant things as child? Nice thought, I am actually there with 21 :)
I've heard of venus fly traps, but those shrub-things are beyond jacked up.
"THOSE ATTACK FROGS ARE COLD BLOODED KILLERS, AND THIS USED TO BE SUCH A NICE SWAMP!!"
-Crystallized Dragon
I hated those plant things that shook. Always scared the crap out of me, especially when I could hear the shaking but couldn't see where it was coming from.
always liked "Spyro the dragon" music ^^
i remember the spyro 1 i had was diffrent and in this level the music was diffrent as well,it was epic
@AMORDEGENERATE
Yeah, I used to have a fear of this level because of those plant things when I was a kid and avoided it. But now I'm a bit older, It's one of my favourite levels.
1:32 was my fav part!
