Ellie's grief-stricken wails in the call to the police are absolutely haunting.

It's sickening to listen to him talk all clinical about what happened the morning of the discovery while Ellie is openly wailing. Especially going back knowing he set it all up and watched it happen. I hope he gets denied every chance he comes up for parole. That's a level of cold, unfeeling evil that doesn’t rehabilitate in prison.

This hits me hard. I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto 7 months ago. I now have to take a vial a day of Lavotirsol. I'm relatively young at 45 but this video is casting dark clouds for the future. Damn.

The issues Carole had weren't related to that but due to being drugged.

with proper long term treatment it's quite live-able, Carol was being poisoned and mislead.

As a glassblower I shudder thinking of water burns. I get burns from several thousand degree fire/ glass. I can say without a doubt that scolding hot water being in prolonged contact with the body is horrifically more devastating than a momentary burn even if the material is thousands of degrees. Water can seriously hold on to energy it is no joke. This is just horrifying for me to consider.

With lemon, so electrolytes that will just make the already scalding water hold its heat longer/more efficiently. Also the glucose content makes it stickier, and sticky stuff is the only burns I hated more than hot water alone when working kitchens (ie instant potato burns are worse but just because it’s harder to wipe off and adheres to skin/hair)

Before the Catfish film of 2010, these types of people were known as confidence tricksters. Since the film and especially since the series people began to use the term Catfish predominantly for con artists who used relationships as bait to get what they want. Sadly nowadays nobody seems to understand the difference between a person who pretends to be someone else while conducting a romance based scam and a person who pretends to be someone or several someone else's in order to con someone into doing or giving them what they want. Everyone is a Catfish now, even though the term doesn't always make sense in terms of the severity of the offence committed.
