That's because Osea lost communication with Kestrel and the majority of war took place on land and not naval combat. With Scinfaxi assault destroying 3 air carriers and slightly damaged Kestrel, Osea decided not to send the last carrier to another sortie.
@@hartantoanggorokestrel isnt their last carrier, in the sea of chaos there is another osean carrier, i bet there is another carrier that isnt appearing in game
And here we see the aftermath of the Stage of Apocalypse. Jesus, man. Fun level. Though anything is fun after Final Option. But still, lots of enemies to go after, some planes to spice things up. Stakes aren't majorly high in this level (Despite everyone crying "OMG DA PLANES ARE GOIN AFTER DE HELICOPTER", the planes just sort of fly around and go after me more often). Am I the only one who wants to play an FPS level starring the Sea Goblin dudes as they storm this castle? Yes? Okay, I'll shut up.
After the escape mission, and the morose cutscene here, hearing that briefing for the first time just makes your head come up and go: "Yeah, it's time to get back into this fight!"
Aw yeah badass new briefing music! I always found it funny that the controller goes "Return to your mission" instead of... say "Begin the mission", especially since there's no return line in this game, so you can't ever "return" to a mission. That mission sure starts slowly but at least it does get better and keeps you occupied for the rest of the fight. Harling sure has a good memory, huh? Remembering the number of votes he won in two elections, just like that. :P
I talk a lot about scripting and scale, but honestly, I'm an easy man to please. Give me enough targets to shoot at and I'm happy. And as repetitive as it is, this mission does accomplish that for the most part.
One thing i've noticed more on recent breakthroughs is how many matte paintings AC5 uses. The first four shots of this cutscene are almost entirely mattes.
This mission kind of tedious, and the cutscene at the end really just rubbed in the fact that all your previous accomplishments were totally meaningless
how is it meaningless? just because Osea didnt get to capture the Capital of Yuktobania? that doesnt really matter at the end, bc there are worse things than the war
It's not just you, PA seems to have decided that the SU-47 is the signature Belkan plane, which fits right in with the Morgan and Falken also having swept forward wings.
+TugaAvenger Yes, that would suggest that there is about 0.5 bilion humans on Strangereal, which makes sense as there are only west-based countries, and thanks to the Demon of Razgriz, no conflicts rise to the level to cause a demographic boom.
We are not talking about population, but about size of the countries. And Avenger is right, Osea is as large, as if you would take 80% of Asia, and joined it into one federation.
"whatever you do, don't shoot the President by accident!"
Trigger: hold up
“Haha. Missile go zoom”
"Since this war began, this ship hadn't taken a single hit from enemy forces."
About that...

DMSwordsmaster at 19:55
can you identify who's behind the big dude?
the one with the cap?
Uh... Probably just a crewman of the Kestrel. Can't be a Wardog/Razgriz pilot since the clothes are different.
DMSwordsmaster yeah... I started getting excited for some reason.
I always thought about that! To play lit fuse and desert lightning as ground troops!

Probably prototype. Wasn't approved yet.
You sould have just used the Rafale for the carrier takeoff.
Is it iust me or are all the Belkan using SU47s?
It's not just you, PA seems to have decided that the SU-47 is the signature Belkan plane, which fits right in with the Morgan and Falken also having swept forward wings.
I see. Well, I can't blame them. I had a blast using SU47 in AC5 on my PCSX2
So OSEA has about 150 mln citisens!
Which is a really small number for Osea's size - it's far larger than anything in our world.

"far larger than anything in our world"
Casual reminder the population of the People's Republic of China is around 1 billion or so, or even more.
Osea's far larger *geographically* than anything in our world - which is why only having 150 million people is very odd.
We are not talking about population, but about size of the countries. And Avenger is right, Osea is as large, as if you would take 80% of Asia, and joined it into one federation.
Bandai was to lazy to make maps zo they copied a map from AC5 to AC zero.
This is a historical location, ground zero of one of the nukes. Why wouldn't they display it in ACZ? It fits perfectly.
and how is it lazy?
it makes perfect sense why would be chosen in Zero, theres a reason why you fly there
m8 they ain't lazy, this place is Waldreich Stier Castle 15 years later, also they re textured and redone some things like map and grass before nukes.
