Hi Sheri ! Between this ultra-relaxed paced video and your just as relaxing and rich narrative, you have nudged my husband Tim and I to the "other side" to take the leap to cruise Seaborne ! Oh my the bedding must really be something else because I know you as we do too, love the Princess Dreamy Bed. I must say we too would get a lot of use from that beautiful mini bar and I don't think I've seen a stateroom which such thoughtful amounts of storage on top of that walk-in. The veranda sealed the deal thank you very much - we are so incredibly pleased that you, your husband and junior (who is almost as tall as your husband YAY !) had such a memorable cruise on Seaborne in such a fabulously memorable spot as Alaska.... I totally agree! they do run more premium than main stream lines however, there are deals to be had. They run promotions, and are an excellent fit for someone who might normally consider booking a suite on a mainstream line. Also, remember there’s so much that is included on these cruises.
Love the video. Seabourn is on our list! It's the same price for 2 people (Alaska) as we have been paying for Disney all these years. We love DCL but are venturing out to other cruise lines. HAL is scheduled next year (Gary B. members cruise), then Princess. Oh yeah, definitely Seabourn. I can now see why our friends dumped Cunard (20+ years) for Seabourn. Thank you.

That's so cool! There were 316 people on our cruise, and 3 children, one of which was my 14 year old. Hope you enjoy! It's a good line to consider if you are suite-inclined on mass market!
Great question Angie. Yes in this case they set it up and broke it down each day. Usually that’s the case with those types of beds if they don’t compress back down into a sofa bed.
Since you didn't provide a point of reference, I will compare against a Princess Cruises standard balcony. This suite is larger which provides room for a couch and table with 2 chairs. In the bathroom, there's a full size tub and separate shower. In PCL standard balcony, there's no couch and the bathroom is tiny with just a small shower sans bathtub. Also, this suite has curtains to separate the bed(s) from the couch area.
Our Seabourn Odyssey cruise ends tomorrow in Vancouver BC. Another great cruise in the books! I'm so glad we got to sail on her again before she leaves the fleet next year. 🫶🏻
Great cabin tour. Thanks for focusing in on the electrical outlets and where they are! We use CPAPs so the outlet next to the bed was European so we need to remember to bring adapters. I have watched other videos and they did not open up the cabinets so I had no idea what was within, so again thanks for your thoroughness! Now I know that there are a lot of drawers! (Our last cruise on the NCL Encore Haven had almost no drawers!) I don't think that we will be able to use all the storage there is so much. In a month we'll find out if the shower is comfortable, it looks tight but we've had some really tight showers in Europe, so we'll be ok.

Sheri, when you get a rollaway bed do they set it up and take it down each day? Or does it stay up throughout the cruise?

How is this room different from a standard balcony?
Great question. All rooms on the ship are suites. So this is basically the standard balcony. Does that help clarify?
