I wouldn't pay the full retail price, but earlier this year I was able to get one on sale, and I agree that it is a fun rig. I swapped out the stock wheels with some Pro-Line MX28'S, which made it much more stable. I run it around the yard and back in my woods where I've been making trails. I'd like to improve the suspension and try going back to the stock wheels in the future.
The look of it is what puts me off. I think it might be the color but am not sure. The Rey platforms seem to be my favorite style of RC. I have 3 Super Rock Reys (one has the entire Vitavon package), Super Baja Rey V1 (still unused), Hammer Rey, and the Rock Rey. I still have the SBR 2.0 on my wishlist as well as the Baja Rey 2.0.

Nice! I’ll be tinkering g with my suspension as well. If I figure anything out I’ll post a video on it.

I have a clear body to paint for it, should look more realistic I think.
I like rear suspension you think it gold be put on slash short course truck or upgrading slash with live axle trophy suspension
I know there used to be a kit to make the slash live axle. Wish they still made it.
