- Take in the views across the ocean from the bridge handing out over the cliff tops. But first take a walk through some highlights of Rockingham, Perth - Western Australia. Taking in some stunning views across Cape Peron.
Today I receive a call from my husband..we gonna live in rockingham. I greatly amaze on this video. Such a great waters and lives.
It is a beautiful spot to live Toni. There is ocean all around. I am sure you will enjoy living there. Especially if you love the water. 🐬
I have lived here for 46 years. My ancestors came down from Guildford used to take my ggrandmother 2 days in a horse and cart to Rockingham. A great place to live. why would you want to leave. Esther Grogan
Oh wow, Esther, 46 years. You would have seen some big changes in Rockingham. I was shocked a few years ago when I saw how many apartment blocks had gone up.. I miss the character of the old timber jetty that I remember on Palm beach.. The new concrete one is just not the same.. but must say, I loved what they have done at Point Peron.. Loved those walking trails, they weren’t there when I used to holiday at Point Person with the family at Christmas time.. mind you the holiday cottages aren’t there any more either.. so many great memories.. 😊

You could continue round past lake Richmond ,shoal water islands , penguin island , safety bay and round Warnbro beach ! When you're on a good thing why stop?🙋🌞🌞🌞😁
Hi Keith, what a great idea. I must do another one that takes in lake Richmond, and Warnbro beach. I recently did a follow up video that took in Penguin Island, Seal and Bird Island.. so beautiful. The day I filmed this I just ran out of time... There is so much beauty around Rockingham. Love to hear your feedback on my Penguin Island video, you sound like a local and someone that knows the area well. 😀👍

Western Australia Now and Then OMG you are dam lucky too call Rockingham home.. so beautiful. Definitely a great place to live, love the vibe of the people too. So many changes, but still retains the character that I will always remember. ☀️😀👍

Oh sounds nice. Let’s hope by 2022/23 it will be all safe to travel.. Surely by then it will be! You have friends in City Beach hey.. very nice coastal suburb. If you go down to Rockingham when you come, Penguin Island is down there also a great place to visit. (Just revisited the island to film one of my videos I just recently posted). How are things over in Boston? You guys been ok over there with covid? Boston is on a very nice river isn’t it?
Was this filmed during lockdown? I'm curious about the amount of traffic on the road. Is that usual, or covid-diminished?
Hi Anna, I don’t think I recorded it during lockdown.. I did try to film when I had minimal cars passing or in front.. But yes, there is normally a lot more traffic on the road. Are you from Perth?

Thank you Rosemary. Yes the endless blue sky was quite epic in Rockingham the day I filmed. Don’t think I saw a cloud in the sky. Us Aussies take he blue sky’s for granted I think. Hope you get some blue sky’s during your summer over there now.. 👋☀️👍

Penguin Island is also down in Rockingham, great spot to visit in the warmer months.

OMG Rockingham is very underrated Firdyk. I know some of the area well as I used to holiday every year in January with the family when I was a kid at Point Peron.. There are some beautiful spots down there.. and the beaches are relatively untouched with development. Thank you for your great feedback. I really appreciate it.
HI Grant! We're out of quarantine and we were in Cape Peron and Rockingham area just the other day... It is absolutely lovely down there that's for sure! House hunting continues, and we even looked at a place down there. Really loving Perth so far.... also checked out the Bell Tower, Elizabeth Quay and Fremantle Markets and popped over to Guildford for a look too.... so much to explore! Anyway, another nice vid - well done!

Is secret harbour a good place to live. ? Can you show footage of the township ? I’m looking at moving west one day soon.
I’ve had friends and family live in Secrete Harbour and they have loved it.. I live in Perth.. if I get time to get back down that way I will certainly try and film some. Where’s home for you at the moment? Sounds like you might be moving to Perth from overseas? Good luck with the move. 😃

Thank you Muja. Totally agree with you. Think it is a bit of a hidden gem of Perth.. Penguin Island is also a beautiful natural beauty.

Rockingham is surrounded by beautiful beaches many of them quite untouched and as nature intended. Penguin Island and Seal Island just off the coastline are great places to visit too see great conservation of the wildlife.

Hi Alper, I am not too sure how easy/hard it is to immigrate to Australia. A lot of people do it. It might be a bit harder atm with covid, but don’t really know if that effects it. Where are you from? 👋😀

@@GrantMenner Hah, it would appear that way wouldn’t it. Being in the, title, ironically. :) nah just enjoy surfing the net, and since I’m on TH-cam I joined the two together. Tube Surfer. I think if I tried to surf I would either end up paralysed or scare the waves away lol.
