    Cracked me up when you said "Take that Dirt Perfect" while you were talking how efficient the excavator is when using the mat as a mud squeegee, lol. I was in awe the first time I seen you do it. Couldn't believe how much mud you moved in that little of time.

    After watching your channel for a while, I realize a big part of the work involves land management/improvements outside of the project at hand, that a project is not just removing/moving material, but creating land areas with a purpose elsewhere. I think the whole process of preplanning and the engineering of a strategy, based on the condition of the land to utilize around you, is what impresses me the most! Or maybe it's just ... eh, just dump it over here Bubba! haha ha

    I believe I'd try to fix me up an old road grader blade and weld a coupler on it to fit the excavator and use that, it might last longer than a mat I don't know but just a thought

    • @MadonnaJune
      @MadonnaJune 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Several people have suggested something similar. And it’s not a bad idea. But keeping track of the uncoupled attachment in deep mud would be difficult. Not to mention actually coupling in that mud. It would waste a lot of time too. Isn’t any faster than just grabbing a mat. At least the mats will lay flat on top of the mud and not sink.

    "Take that, Dirt Perfect!" Gotta love it! Since you started this project I've been thinking: "As long as the customers checks clear the bank." Moving that mud 60 feet at a time seems like the modicum of inefficiency. When you started dragging it with the mat, however.... Somebody's spending a lot of money to get an extra 3 feet of depth in their pond.... Thanks for answering my unasked question; why you didn't bring the 250 out there. Take care, Chris..........

    • @darkrevenger04

    I hope the mud hasn't been getting up next to you. That remark about Dirt Perfect kinda made me wonder. LOL! I can imagine though, that it gets old pretty quick. Like all the trips to Birmingham, in Alabama when I was doing hospital transfers. That road got boring real fast. But all you can do is put your mind in neutral and just do it. There is a cattle farmer not to far from where I live, and I noticed one year he started to dump pond sediment completely over one of his pastures. I finally realized that he fertilizing his field. And it worked to. Have a blessed weekend.
