Note: There is still some confusion about the back panel it really feels like glass to touch but looks like it's Glastic material which feels like glass but it's a polycarbonate and Glass mixed with plastic back. I will email the contacts I have with Google team to get a clarity on that one. But anyways what do you guys think about the Pricing of Pixel 6a in India and will you consider buying the same?

Little things to consider before purchasing pixel 6a😊
    60Hz display
    No 3.5mm jack
    18 watt charging
    Old camera sensor
    No charger in box
    Polycarbonate back, not glass
No service centre nearby, Mumbai only
Tensor is new, not that powerful
Not sure about 6a, but there was bug issues in 6/6pro
Important one: Pricing 43999/- for base variant, no other storage options!

In my honest opinion, 60hz is enough. After using the 4a for two years, I never felt the need for more than 60hz, the charging on the 4a is handy. I believe the Pixel A series is more about the camera and a solid day-to-day phone than about the quick charge or higher refresh rates. If folks need to pinpoint a point, make some noise about increasing the storage & ram.

Thanks for the review. I am using a Pixel 4a from Oct 2021, no complaints at all. And I have become a Pixel fan, for the pure Android experience, amazing handfeel, haptics, Google ecosystem(Pixel buds, Google Nest), smart battery and app usage, always on display, stereo speakers, 3.5mm jack, and ofcourse the camera with night sight. With 6a all these features go to the next level+Tensor, so I will upgrade in 3-4 months. 5-6k price difference will never dissuade any pure Android/Pixel fan. Once you will use a Pixel, you will never go back.

Instead of giving the 50 mp new lens from Pixel 6 they have given the same camera they have been using since Pixel 2. No matter how "good" the photos are they cannot match with Pixel 6 camera. Giving a much older camera in a Pixel A series phone has destroyed the heart and soul of the phone. Nothing else matters.

Pricing is just absolutely ridiculous. Google should really adopt a practical & sensible approach towards smartphone market. Otherwise they won't capture good market share & will not he successful in India. It will just be an enthusiast phone at this price point and feature set.

The biggest issue with pixel a series phones is, it gets launched before 2-3 months of another Android version. That was the case since pixel 4a due to Covid situation. But it reduces A series' update life by 1 year. Rather they can launch 'A' series of last year's phone along with this year's new phone.
Also, lack of headphone jack, expandable storage and high refresh rate screen is a deal breaker for me.

Aa always high import taxes have made the Pixel a tough sell. The cons aren't that major tbh but for a phone costing 44k they definitely shouldn't have been there.
It's good that they are offering really high exchange values and card offers on pre-order. I got the same amount back for my Pixel 4a that I had paid for it. At that price point the 6a is a no brainer for me.

So very disappointed in recent phones.
S21 fe overpriced, s20 fe was very nicely priced
Nothing p1 overpriced & no accessories being company's first phone
Pixel 6a pure disappointment from every pov
Pixel 6 ;though not launched in India; had plethora of bugs & fingerprint sensor issue
oneplus, all recent phones are garbage
S22 fe, news of phone getting axed
Even regular S22 has huge battery issue (only 3700mah)
Two phones that stand out are moto edge 30 and iqoo neo 6. but camera pales in comparison to samsung and pixels.
No win for customers this year.

In my view, e-sim is really impractical. If there has to be e-sim then it has to be tertiary option. Primary & Secondary option must be physical sims. You can swap it, remove it or replace it as per the situation. This flexibility is not there with e-sim. Google doesn't want to study India market and needs, they just want to bestow what they feel is right.

Guys that want wireless charging or 30w fast charge, bigger storage, and 90hz screen, are forgetting that it's a small sized phone, which is the main incentive for people like me to buy it. If you want all that just buy a regular Pixel 6 or wait for Pixel 7
