Stoneshield is indeed a re-release of a more limited release "kitbash" figure they'd made out of various components that didn't get approval in time for the Thunderwolf Cavalry (that's why the figures were effectively identical, with identical equipment, apart from the heads and the paint scheme of the Thunderwolf) combined with the new 2.0 base marine body (the original Claw Pack were 1.0 figures); the original release had that same level of shading.
I'll pass these Sternguard's. Already have too much Ultramarines. I'll invest in others chapters, custodes, mechas and adeptas sororitas or alternatively save money and space for future releases. I think joytoy is releasing too much ultramarines and its time to be seletive about that. Also, the Clawpack worth it, i have two of then, along with Ragnar, Bjorn and Arjac.
i just received both of my space wolves from the pack. on the pictures it has heavy shading compared to the rest of them they have more of a plain and clean finish. on the pictures before i bought them i thought both was going to be shaded. not going to lie i was upset to see it so plain
I’ll be honest with you, I’m not too sure since these action figures are “relatively new.” From my initial collection, I’d say the plastic is holding up well but then again, I don’t really pick up my action figures too much and leave them in a static pose in my cabinets
Wow, those reissues are terrible,... no shading, so glad I have my wolfhead one original !!! Is the wolf you are reviewing a reissue as well ? I was thinking of buying him because he is cheap and has great accessories with the shield and hammer
Yes, JT is releasing too much new figures, it is absolutely imposible to follow up. To be selective is the key. Thanks to brother Sprues reviews we can do just that. Thanks for another entertaining and usefull review brother Sprues, please keep it up!!!

whats really good about the new ones is that the gold is really gold and not that old bronze color that joytoy used back in the days
thanks for the content your my go to guy for joytoys and I always look forward to your content!!!!!!
I got one as a gift and Im really enjoying it but his right arm keeps popping out from the shoulder joint and idk how to keep it in.

100% correct. Too many ultramarines. We definitely need more chapters and variety for sure
The double edged axe I think is called a labris just sharing

I was shocked too. As I said in my review of the re-release of the claw pack, I’m quite certain that the original release of the pack was shaded
How well do the softer plastics used on these figures hold up over time?

Disagreed, the Clawpack while lack in shading, are wayyy better engineered. V1 pauldron is the way to go.

They always find ways to drain money from our pockets right? That’s why I had to be selective and rule out most of the HH figures
@@SpruesNStuds you are absolutelly right brother Sprues, with so much releases it is dificult to build a coherent collection.
they lie to us about the shading 😂 now i have to add my own shading to my space wolves now smh. do better J.T
I’m pretty damn sure that your self applied depth is better than what a mass manufactured action figure company can do. Would love to see your work
