Custom crosshairs (as of 2021) are actually allowed in competitive codm, I emailed several activision reps and after 1 no and 4 yes’s I’ve come to a conclusion that some of the activision staff aren’t informed of rule changes and that crosshairs are allowed
i actually have used the tape trick once, and it was for pubg mobile, people in my school were using it and it was basically the meta there. I tried it and my old phone had this weird thing where if you put tape on it, it usually messes up your aim and taps on stuff without you even touching anything, so i never used it again. my friends were saying that i was missing out on better aim and i was so frustrated 😂. anyways, this was a great video and i really liked how you put tips in the crosshair testing part. keep it up!

Custom Crosshair ain't really an advantage since, there's always a Crosshair in the middle, iron sight, and red dot. Although it is kinda p2w in that one MW2 mission where there's no electricity and red dots don't work
Actually it is an advantage because the game does not provide with a opaque and very detailed crosshair like the ones from the gaming phone. The added crosshair brings more contrast n helps u to stabilize your aim . While blank scoping the crosshair disappears n this helps
The last trick is what I've used, I've seen from a Br player i forgot if it's Blink gaming or CoD Narco. It improves my snipping skills because i don't have to look on the sniper's crosshair.
3 years I've always said that it's not sniping, that's fast scoping a high-powered rifle sniping is picking up enemies from a concealed placement the moving to a second concealed placement covering your teammates at the same time
Im using rog phone 2. It has custom crosshair. I don't use it for 2 reasons. 1. I might get banned for using 3rd party app. 2. If in future i will shift to non-gaming phone then i wont be able to play without this feature. This will make it users bad players because then they will rely on it.
Imo, settings button is the best for custom crosshair since it's round, it really helps me esp when I'm using SG and when I use hip fire button both MP and BR modes. 💯

And no I don't think it's cheating I believe ALL Samsung phones have this(custom xhair) also. The S series does for sure
on my phone, it has its own little gaming app that i can only disable, not delete. it gives me a corsshair i can customize to any shap, size and color and tbh as someone whos used this free feature on Galaxy A71, it does not reallly help. because of bsa, you cannot predict where your shots will reliably go. its good for sniping, shotgunning, maybe even the crossbow. but it doesnt make any difference in my honest opinion. maybe its a placebo effect if someone has never used the built in gaming app on there phone, but unless you're always hipfiring its not a unfair advantage.

yeah i use run button too... The run button also tells you when u are running and when u can slide etc. so it is multi purpose
