Tried the shredded beef taco yesterday and agree with you. I gave the meat a 9 and the taco overall a 8.5. Red sauce is ok but cheese sauce is always good. The crunch burrito was a 7 for me. Great video!

The red sauce is the same sauce used for bean or supreme burrito & enchiritos.
taco is pretty good when the meat is fresh, pretty much like every other taco bell item lol

I wish they would bring back those naked chicken triangle things, they were honestly pretty good. It was a good finger food if you were driving.

This meat called birria is a braised short rib, but being Taco Bell who knows how real it is. a beef consomme (sp) au jus is how original birria tacos are served.

Just had one... flavor was great! Only thing, the shell was a soggy wet gloopy mess, ABSOLUTELY no structure to it at all. Reminded me of a pan of enchiladas.
That red sauce has been around forever at Taco Bell. They used to put it on their tostadas. Remember tostadas? Shit, I was eating those 40 years ago. They still put it on their bean burrito, and you can add it to anything. Never cared for that sauce.

Got the new taco and they gave me ground beef, went back and told them, got another one, pretty sure i heard the cook say through the window "ask me if i give af" got the remade taco and it didn't have much shredded beef in it, my guess is that they tried to just pull a fast one on me and use ground beef bc they were too lazy or cheap to want to warm up another batch

The consomme they were out of...is literally just a cup of their red sauce. Which is UHHHMAZING for carrying many items on their menu in my opinion 😊

The shredded beef is delicious. Better than their trash steak and chicken. I still like their ground beef. I would love it in a quesadilla or burrito.

We have the beefy melt here too, it has tortilla strips, but the beefy fritos crunch burrito, has flaming hot fritos. Definitely not the same

Maybe a bit of extra crunch but I have always liked soft tacos more anyway so there's that
Crunch has Fritos instead of Tortillas Strips. Crunch also doesnt have shredded cheese. Other than that. The same.
