Jesse has been underrated for a long time. I am amazed at how so few people knew this guy could play like this he has been playing like this since he was a teenager.
+Andrew Collins Most Black Brothers except for the Obvious are Underrated Guitarists, Ernie Isley, Dez Dickerson, Eric Gales, and Al Mckay (Earth, Wind, & Fire, and Toney MacAlpine also Vernon Reed (Living Colour).
I seen him live back in the day (90's) and also Prince. And i have to say that Jesse's show kicked ass during his solo career he was the shit. He came out playing that guitar and his band was fucking tight. He also had this backup singer / dancer named Kim Cage and she could give Prince's girls some damn competition. When they did "Misunderstood" they whooped that ass!!!!!!! While Jessie was playing that guitar Kim was dancing all around the stage and singing and damn words can't begin to describe the fire they had going on. I always said that Jessie should have been bigger and also at that time during the 90's could truely give Prince competition on a great show. Eddie M was in his band too so u know it was a damn good show. I wish there was a bootleg of that concert I saw here in Phoenix, AZ. i think i still have the ticket stub too. lol, Grand Master Flash opened up for him.

I've said this same thing about Jesse for years. Even before we had TH-cam.
