We should know in which deck the recording was made because many claim that Nak recordings are not as good played in other decks because of special Nak calibration settings.. so that is an important information.. I would prefer a record and play in each deck or as players with recording from another deck like a Pioneer for example.. I like a lot more aesthetically the Teac ..
Good music sir! The comparison is a bit unfair because the Teac has auto detection switches when a Chrome tape is inserted and Nakamichi has manual ones. Playing a Chrome tape at 120 EQ raises the treble quite a bit. Nakamichi has a warmer sound signature than the Teac witch is a bit more analytic and flat. Both are gorgeous!
For me, Teac seems to be more neutral and Naka more spatial and brillant....So we should know which tape recorder was recorded on ! Cr-3 have an unpleasant predominance around 140hz, V5000 more linéar.
Sooo, what's your assessment of these machines? Which do you prefer and why? Videos such as this, become meaningless. Please give your assessment of these decks as I'm planning on buying a CR3....should I pick it up?
Nak fans ....Nak sounds better...TEAC fans...TEAC sounds better....BOTH are amazing machine....you are listening what yoy want to listen...thats all!

Comparing decks isn't easy and allway's right..it depends..on the heads..the wow & flutter..the age..fact is that these all are high-quality decks..

Muito lindo o aparelho de som , video de ótima qualidade. √
Nakamichi sounds more fuller/balanced!
V 5000 это очень посредсвенная дека. Есть v 8000, ещё v 8030 , или середнички типа v7000 , v 7010 . А вообще примерно одинаково звучат.
agree the nakamichi sounds better
Ну Nakamichi это греат супер аудио, ничто с ним не сравниться.

Nakamichi is a good machine. I recommend him.
Both super decks for me i would like owning them :-)
Nakamichi is a winner
For the Teac V-5000 - I tried 5mm wide x 120mm, 124mm, 127mm long and speed fluctuates. What is the proper belt spec ?
highs are more brighter on the naka
CR-3E is more metal 💖💖💖👍👍👍
nakamichi sounds better
Not really.
Why are the MPX filters turned on?
I was recording

to verim, len nak uz asi hocikto neopravi
👍
CR-4E > V-5000
CR-3E > V-5000
