One thing I might add as advice is when writing chord progressions is try to make each note flow into the next. In other words, every note in the progression should be kinda like its own melody, changing as little as possible as to create a more fluid sound.

Hey thanks for the tutorial. I really like your chord progression. It's so hard coming up with rich neo soul chord progressions because they usually use chords out of the key. How do you choose which ones work for you?

Look up a video about modal interchange. These chords from the parallel key is what you're looking for.
This is REALLY nice music. I feel like the tutorial would work a little better (we'd be able to follow your musical decisions better) if, instead of showing every layer independently, you showed a little more of how they fit into each other as you go along, so we might have our own thoughts about what's missing.

You can't make neo soul by quantizing everything

i offset the drums, and put notes slight off in the piano roll which is the opposite of quantizing
