About the spark plug highly recommended by NGK India engineer Mr Rakesh is NGK Iridium CR7EIX is apt and not CR8 or CR 9.thread length is same but CR 7 will eliminate carbon deposits and improve overall performance

I may be incorrect but I thought a low octane fuel caused knocking or a very weak mixture. Weak mixture I thought created heat which combined with low octane fuel creates pre detonation making the knocking or pinking sound. This eventually burns the valves. Again I'm no expert so could be incorrect.

Knocking / detonation mostly during hot days.
On cool winter days or pleasant 24-25 degrees Celsius there is almost No knocking.
Do i still consider doing the same as you've shown in the video?

Hi Ben, I add a shot of redex to the fuel for my van as helps keep it all clean and prevents coking up.
Also you can pour a capful direct on top of the piston and leave for a while Mark.
Ps luv the channel, stay safe 👍

Ben bro, otherwise we can use Decarboniation process it will also remove carbon formation inside the engine

I was watching Pub Runner and he said that RE upgraded his 2021 Himmy CPU to the new Scram firmware mapping and the bike ran much smoother and quieter. It seems like it might be an alternative to a FuelX CPU change out.

I have a scram 411 with 4000kms and it makes a rattle sound under load only. I am in Colombia on a student visa and I don’t have my tools, so I can’t figure the problem out myself.

Detonation . Pre ignition . NEVER LUG the Himalayan. Rev match and ride

    • @BluuSkyz
      @BluuSkyz ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@ONTWOWHEELSBEN The problem is the stock gearing is too high and it wants to lug unless I rev it really high and even then it still lugs because theres a lot of mountains here. I've been thinking about going 1 tooth down in the front or 2-3 up in the back.

You're likely to get carbon buildup even in a healthy engine especially if you don't regularly go to the higher end of the rpms
