1: Jinga is quite the anomoly... both figurative and literal. 2: Wish Gald found out why Jinga and hi wife slaughtered his village (unless he did and I just forgot) and gives him a new prospective. 3: 90s were great (not being biased since I was born in 93). 4: Sooner or later, should Garo be resurrected, people are gonna have to do homework on it; Amemiya's not going to be around forever.
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork Ah yes, while he did understand what a lot of the people of his village did was unjust; he felt that the couple didn’t have the right to kill EVERYONE, especially ones who either were against it or just didn’t know.
There are still things i love better in Makai Senki such as how incredible the standalone stories are and how it does a phenomenal job with Jaaku and how it polishes the characters of the first installments into even better ones. I also love how they did the last few episodes of Makai Senki but Sho is also truly amazing and i have to say it does an incredible job with the dynamic between Ryuga and Rian and how story driven it is without feeling janky due to now, It actually fleshes out both the characters and the story. Jinga is also an amazing villain while Japanese Morticia is great too. My biggest complaint about Sho is that the last few episodes feel kinda redundant and rather a bit sloggish as it just goes like Operation exterminate Jinga but still i can overlook that as this show has a lot to offer from its characters to the plot and so on. I still prefer Makai Senki and Versus Road but Sho is a close third. 5/5
He fits this role more than decade. It’s not over the top poser like decade or his own pink no toku ft akb48 idol. It’s weird to know Jinga’s lover is famous high profile ex AV idol that was once interview by uk bbc or cnn and stuffs. She’s not one off character, but a heavy recurring supporting actress. Wonder is casting director marketing tactic.
Still don't enjoy it as much as Makai Senki, though to its credit, improving on everything that came before it contributed a lot to Makai Senki being great. However, Goldstorm was a serious bright spot among later Garo. After Season 3 & 4 I was primed for more boredom and bad CGI, and this was thankfully much, much better. Unfortunately I didn't find much to like outside of this other than Black Blood, which had interesting concepts.
Yeah, there is a reason it took me this long to even watch the show. I kind of jumped ship on Garo after Makai no Hana, but jeez this season was so freaking awesome!!! Now I really hope someone plays catch up on the BDs in the US because I want to own it so badly.
Makai Senki just had too many memorable standalone episodes while i simply loved the more J-Drama and Battle Royale esque aspect of Versus Road (though my issue with this one is how abysmal the Garo suit is used). My Top 5 goes Makai Senki Versus Road Shō Fanged Wolf/S1 Makai Retsuden
Completely unrelated to your vid, but I just wanted to share that I finally finished watching Ultraman R/B (minus the movie). After Episode 17 I legit just forced myself to finish this cuz I lost interest ngl 😅. The twist the other villain (the girl I don’t even remember her name she was that unmemorable), was stupid. Though I did like the one with the mom. And I liked how they went the trope of killing off parents by bringing her back lol. As for the ending, grateful to see that girl killed off cuz she was a terrible villain compared to Aizen. However, I’m confused because maybe I missed something but what’s the deal with the sister? Is she actually a human or not. As for other Toku, finally finished watching Kamen Rider Den-O (can’t wait for your review of that someday), the Kakuranger 30th anniversary special (which was awesome) and the Kamen Rider Faiz 20th Anniversary movie (which I’m honestly surprised you haven’t reviewed yet). I’ve watched up to Episode 14 of Garo rn and I’m gonna start watching Ultraman: Towards the Future tomorrow 😃
I honestly forgot all about the 555 special. It's not really on my priorities. Same with the Gokaiger, Abaranger, and Hurricaneger movies. What are you thinking of Garo so far?
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork Absolutely loving it. Annoyed it had a clip show, I swear Japan has a weird addiction to them. I just think it’s weird that I’m 14 episodes in and I haven’t seen or heard of this Kiba guy that’s supposedly the main villain. Unless it’s the guy his dad fought in that badass flashback fight in Episode 12.
@@maingamer6846 Given the show aired in 2005 when reruns and streaming were unheard of, I've got no issue with there being a clipshow. In fact, the clipshow did have a couple of great moments.
Sho was phenomenal but it does not hold a candle to me with Makai Senki Still definitely a Garo masterpiece along with Makai Senki and Chapter of the Fanged Wolf or Season 1 Garo doesn't have any bad releases some just not up to par with the rest We do not talk about Zero: Black Blood or Biku Have not seen the animes
Biku on the other hand was just another piss poor follow up to a Garo film so that more sub contents could be made. Even the Ashura special in 2016 is far more complex is much more well thought off than Biku
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork how the cgi moves. I feel like I get motion sick every time something moves. It's also hard to keep up with the darker CGI in the night scenes
Goldstorm Sho in a nutshell: ONORE JINGA
lol
Well guess we found the Dairanger of Garo.
Possibly. Although, it has been a while since I have watched Makai Senki.

He did learn why they did it, but that made him want to attack them even moreso.
The 90s were indeed great.

Could be. Did not know she was that high profile though.
I can't wait to see what you have to say about Donbrothers.
That review will be around Xmas.
I lost track on how many movies or sequels there are. It kind of branch of to become a Decade good bad Jinga series for a while.
I belive the Zinga spin-off is just a what if type show.

Probably my favorite season after season 1. The relationship between rian and ryuga is really good.
They have such great chemistry.
Heir to the steel armor was quite good too
This was an amazing series.
It really is.
Will you review makai no hana 2014 next or Jinga 2018 next? Did you watch the recent Sequel?
I won't be tackling those at all right now. Next week will be God's Fang and then I'll be finishing Halloween Month off with Heir to Steel Armor.

Makai Senki
Versus Road
Shō
Fanged Wolf/S1
Makai Retsuden
I haven't watched VR or Tales yet.
Nice He-Man reference...

Zero Black Blood? I thought Dragon Blood was far worse. Alice may be the most insufferable Garo character ever. Have not seen the Biku movie yet.
I actually prefer ZDB as it does justice in giving Rei an actual webseries dedicated to himself even if Alice was an awful villain.
