HE will be very well missed...his students called him Professor, in Russia we dreamed to be able to study in his class. I had an amazing privilege to have one time class with Timofey...I couldn't even play well at the time and professor encouraged me to continue trying to enter into his class...eventually I passed competition and entered into the class of igor Sazonov in institute Gnesinyx 1990 but unfortunately T. Dokshitser left Russia. I was able to study with one of his talented student Igor Sazonov. unfortunately Igor passed away at the age of 38 years old...Sazonov was dominated with his performance in Moscow unfortunately I can't find anywhere his performance in TH-cam. he was just amazingly good. that would be another discovery in trumpet world...it was a great time.

He played on a Bach 7EW that he made himself on one of Vincent Bach's lathe machines for the bulk of his career.
