It's been a rough couple of weeks at home and we can only imagine the pain those directly affected by the recent tragedy in Nashville are experiencing. We've struggled to navigate the crippling anxiety we've had as parents who are unsure of what actions we can take to best protect our kids at school... that said, we know it is our duty to do something and to use our voices.
We don't know that there is any singular "right" answer at this time and we certain don’t claim to have all the answers ourselves but we know constructive conversations must be had to find them and that can't happen when we lose sight of the fact that we are all on the same side when it comes to wanting to ensure the safety of our children.
Our prayers remain with the Covenant victims and families and loved ones left behind.
