The inspiration behind this video:
As a semi-reboot of the Terminator franchise, Terminator: Genysis would present a T-800 model played by Schwarzenegger in a completely new light as a reprogrammed Terminator sent back to the early '70s to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke). This Terminator would take on the unique role of not just protecting but raising the orphaned Sarah as his daughter, Sarah even coming to call him "Pops" and the T-800 coming to see himself the same way. Terminator: Dark Fate would show another re-invention of the cyborgs from the future. The movie opens with the unthinkable of Schwarzenegger's T-800 killing a young John Connor (Edward Furlong) in 1998.
With no orders left to follow and no way to return to the future, the T-800 would gradually come to learn how much John's death had destroyed Sarah (Linda Hamilton). He would then seek to atone for this act by helping Sarah stop the re-set apocalyptic future, with the T-800 sacrificing itself "for John" in Terminator: Dark Fate's ending. In both cases, Genysis and Dark Fate would do something no other Terminator movies had done by getting inside the heads of the Terminators themselves and guiding them towards becoming, in a sense, human. That very symbolic evolution of machine to man is the untapped Terminator story that Terminator 7 can and should explore.

The funny thing for me is that the time needed for this AI robot of the future to scan that barcode is so long. We have faster scanning ability in supermarkets right now...
It's from the future, the AI has to first scan it's memory banks to see in that type of barcode is still on record, then decipher the bar code. Supermarkets are designed for one type of barcode and already have the info on file. Sheesh is thinking really this hard for so many people. Please use your gray for a second before hitting the comment button.

Mit Teil 4 sollte eigentlich Ende sein und jetzt bekommt Teil 7 ein enlichen Abschluss wie Teil 4 echt traurig wenn die sich wenigstens ein neues ende was zu Teil 6 gepasst hätte einfallen lassen den der 4 Teil hieß die Erlösung da ging es um das es jetzt auch geht nun ja der Krieg war in Teil Vier noch nicht ganz gewonnen was man mit ein Teil 5 vielleicht beenden hätte können in dem man das gebracht hätte um das es jetzt in Teil 7 geht da ja dort die Maschinen komplett besiegt werden soll

The books that the lady wrote are connected to each other. All the films are not of course they needed to change things so they wouldn't get caught stealing someone else's work. But.. I wish they would finally settle in court and give her the rights. Update her books then some filmmaker and direct collab through let's say 6 films rebooted to fit her vision of the whole story.

I was a huge terminator fan as a kid and teen, was so happy when they finally made T2 and wasn't disappointed by it at all, even if it didnt had that scary dull atmosphere anymore but was more of an action movie. I also saw the 3rd one, but got seriously traumatized and during the years I always hoped that every next episode will finally heal my previous traumas as a terminator fan. And at the end, except of bad cgi and childish terminator robots I also got to see the original Arnold 101 terminator that scared and fascinated me so much as a kid, fishing by the river. That was the end for me and I wont give any other terminator movie a chance anymore.

Somehow Pops knows that they need to finish all the machines and yet nobody kills him since he is still part of Skynet. I think Skynet is allowing Pops to keep coming back to understand what went wrong last time and maybe this time they will be able to finish humanity.
