Great review, I love these darts. I've had them less than a week and have taken to them quite quickly, but I do like this style of barrel. I use grip wax to help with the grip. I'm glad I got them repointed with some raptor points though, they look a lot better. 👍🏼🎯
I've ordered about 6 or 7 sets of RD darts and the match weighting has nearly been perfect on all of them. Way better than some of the other brands I've bought recently (target).
@@Timesend I agree, coatings last long. I ordered $99 usd cult barrels from target, supposed to be 23G all came in 21G. When I contacted them for no help.
I just order Lukes darts. Nice to hear that RD improved the quality of their darts. Because all sets (5) i bought back in 2015 or so are poorly made. Points not in the middle and wobbling. Some barrels shorter than the others. Weight off,... 🤞
Great review as always on a nice set of darts. I am partial to a barrel shape like this and like the machined rings up by the nose. As far as the X-Long shafts I had to look back in my FaceBook feed from Darts Clearance. In Feb 2022 they had some 65mm white nylon shafts available and also some slightly shorter 56mm Aluminum Shafts. I have never tried such long shafts so the next time they become available I will need to try some out for myself.
Having bought a 24g set of these a week ago, they're not a bad dart but I'd rather throw them for a fun fling. Different style of grip to what I typically use, shape of nose provides better comfort than my set & these are similar dimensions to my CMD custom-made set. Enjoyable fun set which I'd generously give them a 8/10 🎯
I like these darts and on camera the flights look awesome. I don’t mind them not being grippy but I wouldn’t spend that amount on a basic shaped dart regardless of them having a pro player attached to them. I’m sure if you search you can get to very similar ones for a fraction. Great stuff WWD 👍🏻

Cool to know about the length of his stems/shafts. Can you please make a video about dart length? What is the max length? How short is allowed. How different length affects throw and balance and all. Who throws/throwed the longest and the shortest.
I have a few torpedo barrel darts in soft tip that I enjoy throwing. I guess I’ve gotten used to all the new fancy designs. If you dipped these in brass you could go trolling pubs as a newbie. “Wow, you hit a 180!” Really? Is that good? Haha. Thanks for the review!
Hi WWD! I manage to get my hands on those long @$$ 60-65mm stems. If you want, I can send you a pic 😃 Surprisingly, they fly well together with my dark thunders. I expect them to wobble but nope, they fly straight and pretty stable in the air
@@WorldwideDarts my darts hardly go in the board i have a strong throw and follow through but im a very rear gripper, short medium and long stems hardly get the dart in the board for me, these help a bit so i can at least play, i still have no idea how to fix the throw though lol

I would love these darts in a 501 practice or a cricket to see how consistent the throw is, because checkout are cool to watch but don't show how reliable a dart is

Every red dragon darts I’ve got are pristine, they last long even the coatings they use (unlike unicorn)

They are like the Darts of Nathan Aspinall, not very grippy, but the grip improves with warmed-up fingers.
Nice darts but it’s just that when Luke throws them , they don’t seem that chunky to naked eyes.

Reddragondarts sells the longer stems 65mm. Description says they are the same what Luke uses.

think these need to be bought. I use red dragon rebels which are a low grip barrel.

I like the shape of the Whitlock version better.
So just wondering what happens if you throw with a front grip on these with short stems, do they fly well or does the point drop down too much?
They actually threw just fine with the short stems. After the review I put on the short stems and I didn't notice too much difference at all.
