WangXian | Darkest Part of Me

This awesome show and song combination was requested by Omar Sedke, I hope you enjoy the video! I HIGHLY recommend headphones as this song has a lot of nuances you miss without them. I like it through speakers, I love it through headphones.
So I rarely do full song videos because... I have no good reason. The longer I edit a song, the worse I get at it XD But the full song was requested which made me think a little more about the song. Concept being that at the end after the "it spills over you" part, showing that the darkness has impacted LZ and of course LZ's darkest part in his mind would be how weak he is because of how much he cares for WWX. I think anyway. I'm probably entirely wrong, but that's my headcanon, do not disturb it! :)
The coloring for this video was inspired entirely by the actual video for the song, which I LOVED. My favorite part of working on this video was realizing that chopping, stretching and reversing clips in individual frames creates a jerky movement effect I now really like. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going back to watching my new obsession, Word of Honor!

I am so so glad you like it!! Honestly when someone requests a video, I'm elated if they like it. Just made my day! I don't know the artist or the song, but I can definitely look into it! Fair warning, since I don't know the song it'll be another long wait. If I don't know a song I might listen to it daily for weeks just thinking about the edit before I even start. Thanks again!

@@omarsedke3142 I would just like you to know, I did not forget this video! I did, however, lose all of it when an external HD crashed. I am trying to start it over if you still want it. I did have another Wangxian edit done that I never posted if you'd like one to tide ya over 😅 for all I know you've got a new favorite couple!
