So, I wasn't sure about this video idea, but I'm pretty sure it's a universal fear. That nagging feeling you are somehow circling back to exactly who and what you don't want to be. This video isn't about him being like his mother, but rather the fear of it. Wei Qian is one of my favorite characters I've seen in a long time because he's so human, due in large part to his wonderful actor. I just can't seem to move past this story. Ah well...

it's hard to wach how an mother can abuse her child... qian show how outstanding he is by the way he raised lili and yuan all by himself althougt he was still a child too
Parents/guardians have so much impact and I really appreciate how the show handled that. Couldn't agree more on Qian, he's flawed but trying with everything he has. It's hard not to love that kind of character and storytelling!
