The tradition of hitting the base of a soju bottle came into existence because back in the old days, soju bottles would be corked, and these cheaply manufactured corks would have small parts disintegrate into the drink and descend to the bottom of the bottle. Hence a quick hit on the base would make these rise and a hit on the bottle neck would get rid of these crumbs. Nowadays metal caps have replaced corks but the tradition continues with many people not knowing the origins of this practise but now you know…..thank you for attending my TED talk….happy drinking !!!
That was a good conclusion for a similar tasting soju. It was good for you to breakdown it down the texture and the finish. I like a smooth texture and a hot finish so should I mix both? 🤣😂
Thanks for the video. I was always curious about the difference between the 2. I don't always see the jinro retro/it's back in the supermarket so I haven't had the chance to compare. Now I have to pick one up when I see one. I'm in the mood for the rough finish haha 😅

Yeah, not just the corks, but also balance sediments from the old filtration methods! Love your TED talk! 🤣
Happy drinking! 🍻🍻🥃🥃

That sounds like a perfect Jinro soju cocktail! Or you can first down the Fresh, and chase it with the Original! 🤣🤣
Happy drinking! 🍻🍻🥃🥃

It’s definitely enjoyable even if less refined than the fresh. Maybe you could even rent their old hanboks for more feel! 🤣🤣
Happy drinking! 🍻🍻🥃🥃
Soju always tastes better when served cold. 올레마트
Definitely agree on that!
Soju! 🇰🇷💚
Happy Drinking! 🍺🥃
Definitely happy after 2 sojus! Happy drinking, my friend! 🍻🍻🥃🥃
I prefer 처음처럼….
I suppose you’re talking about the ChumChurum soju? Personally, that’s what i order at Korean restaurants as well, goes really well jjajangmyun! 🍶🍶
So... Which one has more alcohol content
I actually think they’re both the same!
