Hello, I am writing to you from Antalya, one of Turkey's successful cities in terms of agriculture. I grow hydrophonic strawberries in a greenhouse. I watched your videos and you grow really good strawberry plants. What I want to ask you is how do you get so much product from one strawberry plant? We can get a total of 500-600 grams of product from one strawberry plant. You, Dutch growers, get strawberries from every plant weighing more than 1 kg, even though the climate conditions are worse than in Turkey. How do you achieve this? Is the strawberry variety important? or air conditioning? I want to learn . Thank you so much 🙏

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experiences with hydroponic strawberry cultivation in Antalya.
Achieving high yields from strawberry plants involves a combination of factors, and you've rightly pointed out some key considerations. While climate conditions certainly play a role, there are several other factors that contribute to maximizing strawberry production.
Firstly, selecting the right variety of strawberries is crucial. Some varieties are inherently more productive than others and are better suited to specific growing conditions. Additionally, optimizing the growing environment through techniques such as controlled temperature, humidity, and light levels can significantly enhance plant growth and yield.
In Dutch greenhouse cultivation, growers often employ advanced techniques such as precise nutrient management, optimized irrigation systems, and tailored environmental controls, including air conditioning, to create optimal growing conditions for their plants. These practices can promote vigorous growth and maximize fruit production.
Furthermore, proper plant care, including regular pruning, pest and disease management, and ensuring adequate pollination, is essential for maximizing yields.
I also want to mention that Vossen The New Farming offers natural horticulture improvers that can aid in enhancing plant growth and productivity. Our products are developed to support sustainable and efficient farming practices, which could be beneficial for your hydroponic strawberry cultivation.
Continued experimentation, learning, and adaptation to local conditions are also critical for improving productivity over time.
I hope this provides some insights into achieving higher yields from your hydroponic strawberry plants. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or need more information | hello@vossenagriculture.com
