A short 6K video from my time in South Africa in late 2021 with some good friends. Had no idea just how beautiful this country was until I was able to see everything with my own eyes. Everything from incredible mountains, forests, and savannahs. Even got to see animals like Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Rhinos when going on a safari in one of the country's national parks, an experience I will never forget.
Hope you enjoyed the new format of these 6K videos, maybe a bit different from the normal cinematic video you previously seen on this youtube, but as mentioned in the outro of the video I'm gonna try to switch it up a little bit more on this channel moving forward.

Mate, i love all your videos but i actually prefer this kind to the heavy effects (even though they are frickin awesome and next level!!!). This type of video has fantastic story telling and lets the viewer breath a bit and take in the stunning visuals you have captured. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Always inspiring! This is some gorgeous footage/grading, and epic locations. I’m proper beginner level with my videos, but hopefully get to almost this level a few years down the line.

As a South African, thank you for showing our beautiful wild country. It gave me goosebumps throughout and reminded me why, even through our very volatile life here, Africa will always be in my blood.

Hey Erik. Really nice video from South Africa, love the slower paced edit focused on visuals. And I think it's great about spliting videos in few different categories. I know how it feels to get back from a trip with lots of footage, and only fractions gets seen by people. :) Sometimes because of that I end up not even posting anything because of long editing hours.
Anyway excited for the future of this channel.
