- This is a 7 x 12 x 6'6" cargo trailer toy hauler conversion. It features a 250 watt solar panel powering 2 - 95 amp hr AGM batteries, fold down beds, rubber tread plate flooring with Etrack for securing your toys. There is a 2.4 cu.ft fridge that runs on solar or shore power, a 8000 btu air conditioner to keep you cool on the hottest days, 7 gallons of fresh and grey water storage, ample counter space and a propane stove.
Going to a new area around October for career advancement with a lot more traveling, but do not have friends or family in the area of work. Trying to purchase a cargo trailer to build into a portable tiny home capable of carrying tools supplies and a sleeping area. Also I’ll try and have some adventures along the way.

Thank you and yes, mixing up the jugs would not be a good thing. You can't see it in the video, but they are labeled "fresh" and "gray" to hopefully prevent a mix up.

I am converting a 12ft cargo to camper/toy hauler
I am curious as to what you did for solar and shore power
What battery size did you use
Inverter ?
Solar panel I intend on buying a 150 or 200w
I will run a 110v mini fridge 4.4 cf
Don’t intend to run much else
No a/c no microwave
Maybe Nespresso coffee machine
Max fan and led lights wiil be 12v

Thank you. For shore power, we brought in 30 amp service via a 30 amp rv inlet feeding a 4 slot breaker box. For solar, we used a 250 watt panel, 20 amp charge controller, 2 - 95 amp hr agm batteries and a 750 watt inverter. The only thing running off the inverter is the fridge. We wired the 120v fridge circuit and the inverter circuit to a switch to allow the fridge to run on solar when not on shore power and on shore power when not plugged in.
What keeps someone from locking you in with that side door latch? And no rv style emergency exit window?
If you put the lock in the flip latch, the bar cannot go down far enough to keep the door from being pushed open from the inside. I had my wife and my neighbor's wife and daughter try and push the door open with the lock in the flip latch and all 3 had no problem opening the door.
Curious on a 6x6x12 that can sleep 4 and 2 dogs. I have a factory insulated 5x10 v nose with factory windows and RV lock looking to trade it is a 2021
That's asking a lot from a 6 x 12. I would look at a 7 x12 minimum. 7ft wide will give you the ability to put 2 sets of bunk beds in runnimg front to back with room for the dogs in front. I'm starting a 7 x 14 in a couple of weeks that will have a single bed on one side and bunks on the other. No, we don't have enough panel or battery capacity for that.

The lower part of the toilet is a holding tank. When you flush, the waste drops into the holding tank. When the tank is full, you remove the tank and take it to an appropriate dump location (rv dump station, flush toilet, vault toilet, etc). After it's empty, replace it under tbe toilet bowl and it's ready for use.
Yes I can .First you put a 13 gallon trash bag in a 5 gallon bucket and than put that nice wooden toilet seat on top . Do your business and put the seat away pull out the trash bag ,tie it up and throw it out. No crap to handle, no crap sitting inside your camper that you have to smell and clean out later.😊

I don't believe any non factory built conversions are RVIA certified.

Thank you for this info. I wasn’t sure. I know that if you’re able to get them RVIA certified, banks are more inclined to give out loans for them, so buyers can finance them.

What is the tow capacity of your truck? The trailer weighs about 2600 lbs.

What kind of air conditioner is that?
The AC is an 8000 btu Frigidaire Casement window unit. I like it because it fits between the wall studs.

How did you do that finish on the cabinets?
I used 1 x 3 "whitewood" boards from Home Depot. Sanded the heck out of them to get them smooth, then stained with Varathane Ebony Stain. 2 costs of satin finish Watco Brushing Lacquer for the clear coat.
