So beautiful!
Beautiful clean mall.
This is an old mall, but they did many remodeling jobs so it looks nice and modern today in 2023.
My childhood mall, used to go here all the time, I was happy to see it still thriving when I visited the mall again after all these years, and it was good to see it in this video.
Thank you so much for watching, @Littletoybonnie! 😊
Im glad you liked it. 😀😉👍
Paskong pasko na talaga, salamat sa virtual tour,Kabayan. More power always.
Salamat kabayan! Ilang araw nalang pasko na! I wish you and your family a bountiful Christmas! 😊😊😊🎄🎄🎄
i think the western lot entrance is closed off and having some development going on? wonder what they're planning cuz that is a lot of space to fill.
its a nice clean mall. too many shoe stores. i like the independent ones shown here just to add that unique charm. other malls may being turned into schools and apartments but brea mall seems to be doing okay.
Thanks for the update Matty😉👍
It's been a while that I haven't been to Brea Mall. And thank you so much for watching.😊😊😊
The Brea Mall originally opened in 1977, with May Company and Sears as the mall's initial two anchor stores. In 1979, the mall opened two additional anchors, The Broadway and Nordstrom (second California store ever). By 1991, the mall's original Nordstrom store was demolished and replaced with a new Y-shaped mall wing, with two new anchor stores added. The new anchors that opened within the Y-shaped mall wing were J.W. Robinson's and a newer and larger Nordstrom store. Then, in 1993, J.W. Robinson's and May Company consolidated to form Robinsons-May. The mall's May Company store morphed into a Robinsons-May store while the Robinson's store closed. The former Robinson's store later reopened as a JCPenney store. Then, in 1996, The Broadway morphed into a Macy's store. In that same year, Robinsons-May and Macy's expanded their stores larger in footprint. In 2006, Robinsons-May closed its store as a result of Macy's buying the chain. Two years later, it reopened as a Macy's Men's Children's & Home store, converting the ex-Broadway Macy's store into a Macy's Women's store. In 2018, Sears (mall's last original anchor) closed its Brea Mall store. Part of the former Sears store was temporarily converted into a Q Fashion store. Now, the former Sears store is demolished and will be replaced with new mixed development.
