Teofimo Lopez: Greatest Hits is a 30-minute retrospective of the biggest fights and moments so far in Teofimo’s young career as he sits down with host Crystina Poncher. Fight fans will get to re-live highlight-reel knockouts that set Lopez on a fast track to superstardom, the night Lopez won his first world championship at Madison Square Garden against Richard Commey, the moment he became a pound-for-pound force and unified world champion over Vasiliy Lomachenko, and his most recent masterclass against former undisputed champion Josh Taylor.

Teofimo Lopez will defend his WBO and Ring Magazine titles against Jamaine Ortiz on Thursday, Feb. 8, at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Lopez-Ortiz headlines an action-packed televised doubleheader that kicks off Big Game Weekend.
In the 10-round lightweight co-feature, U.S. Olympic silver medalist Keyshawn Davis faces Puerto Rican former two-division world champion Jose “Sniper” Pedraza.

kambosos. On the other side, he’s one of the best to ever do it at only 25!!! Took out p4p #1 Loma, at 135. Took out 140 #1 Undisputed and Undefeated JOSH TAYLOR!!! Dominant performance. Nothing ever seen before. I’ll wait if someone has a better resume at 24-25
Teofimo had a bad night against Kambosos, indeed .. but he had problems with Nakatani and Martin as well.
I will support Lopez no matter what but lets not pretend he walk through 135 and 140 easily because that is not the case .. let's not forget although Teo fought Lomachenko while the latter was still in his prime 4 years ago this year ; Lomachenko is significantly smaller than the majority of the very good or solid boxers he faced .. he is a natural 126lb and Lopez, Linares, Haney are much bigger than him naturally so it should be taken into account.
That being settled, i admire his Will to become more than a clout chaser like the majority of the popular Boxers nowadays ; he fought Lomachenko at 135lb and Taylor at 140lb and i give Lopez much more credit for this performance as Josh is a big 140 pounder.
Lopez still needs to prove he is the best at 140lb, beating the man is not enough .. Taylor had several names on his resume in order to deserve his status .. so far Lopez had several troubles with Martin but Dominated Taylor .. his next bout is against an ex 135lb like him, but i want to see Lopez vs Ramirez or Haney for example, Matias ! .. beating the man is not dominating a division, he never did it yet.
We should wait and see what happens against Ortiz and see what he chooses afterward.
Teo's career has already had as many ups and downs as alot of fighters who've been around 10 years more than he has.
I remember thinking he could beat Loma by punching with him, the power and size would make Loma think twice and so it proved to be. One of the few times ive ever predicted how an elite fight would go lol

Teofimo Lopez deserves more respect among the Boxing community for his career because although he is inconstant, he has faced many solid to very good/great Boxers across two weight classes and i do believe he should be marketed even more and this promo is a good one ..
Lopez is going to turn 27 this year and might not be in his prime yet, he already faced adversity and could POTENTIALLY conquer the 140lb division if he stay disciplined mentally speaking.
He has had a bad night against Kambosos and this is generally what his Haters throws to disminish his career ; as if a career was only made of success .. Latin American Legends such as Carlos Monzon 🇦🇷 or Roberto Duran 🇵🇦 have had their ups/downs as well ..

A Very Good Boxer , both were legitimate Unified Champions who deserved their Pound for Pound Spot !

Having said all that, Lopez beat the Man at 140lb ( Josh Taylor ) but still is not the Man at that Weight : Taylor built his status by beating very frequently Good opposition such as Postol ( beating Matthysse with his Jab relatively easily is still very present in my mind ) , A Prime Regis Prograis, José Ramirez ..

Hi, i am also a Teofimo Lopez's Fan, but to say he beat everyone at 147lb and under is an exageration 😅 .. he did not walk through 135lb despite beating Lomachenko and Commey ; he had troubles with the likes of Nakatani and it is alright , every Legends in the making has had bad performances against some opponents ..
I was personnally not as impressed by Lopez's performance against Lomachenko than i was when he fought and completely dominated a Big 140lb such as Taylor .. we have to remember Lomachenko is a natural 126 pounder ; The Likes of Lopez and Haney could easily fight at 147lb ( Brian Castaño is a 154 pounder who is shorter than Lopez, and Haney is taller than both, and his frame is very big even at 140lb ).
Lopez did beat Taylor more than convincingly, Lomachenko was gun shy and > rounds he could have been more active in .. but we also have to give Lopez his flowers for the simole fact he faced Lomachenko 4 years ago this year ; Vasyl was still in his prime in 2020.
In my humble opinion, there are still doubts as far as Lopez even though he did beat two ex pound for pound as well as unified champions accross 2 divisions .. yes it might be paradoxal but Lopez had bad performances as well against the likes of Sandor Martin and Nakatani for example ( whereas Against Kambosos it was a matter of a bad night, it was not about styles ).
Teofimo Lopez still has to pass Ortiz who is as you said a big 135lb*
( the size difference against Lomachenko is crazy and the latter does not recieve enough praize for fighting way, way bigger men than himself ).
* and he would have to face the likes of José Ramirez 🇲🇽 and Subriel Matias 🇵🇷 in order to be more than > at 140lb because beating the man is not enough, old timers used to conquer a whole division ( Wilfredo Gomez 🇵🇷 at 122lb , Roberto Duran 🇵🇦at 140lb ; Carlos Monzon 🇦🇷 at 160lb .. )
I let you judge by those Latin Legends, how hard Lopez still has to work in order to be considered what some call an Hall Of Fame Career already, focusing on belts mostly .. ( in my opinion 2 very good victories over 2 unified champ is really, really good especially nowadays but people have to calm down ; Lopez is not consistent enough )
