That's great, I do the same with my HMMWV. I can drive my new F-350 but na. I take the wife to dinner or the trip to Walmart. Every trip is like I'm in a parade. 🍻🇺🇸
Bill, I did indeed enjoy riding along with you! Thank you for making this available. I drove a 1967 Kaiser Deuce in Vietnam 1969-1970. No turbo, no multi-fuel, but it did have that deafening air buzzer! Maybe air over hydraulic brakes??? Made me feel almost normal driving, in the most abnormal year of my young life. I was not supposed to drive, as I was an E-5. But, as the Garbage NCO, it took so long to get an S&T driver, my "solid waste retrieval" detail, load up and start collecting the trash, that I convinced our Executive Officer, LT. Allen (?) to send me over to the Motor Pool to get a truck license, like I had back at Ft. Irwin. The E-6 was beyond livid that an Junior NCO was trying to get a truck driver's license. (Maybe that's why we lost the war??? :-) Only glitch was nobody told me about the "W" shift pattern. After a few 3rd-to-5th luggings, I figured it out. I know, there was a picture on the dash board, but who the heck looks at those? I had an IH 4x4 with a 4 speed back in the US. I love how you treat the RPM's and speak well of the rig. Blessings, Don Dodson
I had one. Sold it. Worst thing I ever did. Now I'm getting another one but in way better condition and it's the one I want. Some folks don't understand why we want a deuce, but once they drive one, hear the sound of the motor, experience it's offroad capabilities, perhaps they'll understand.
The buzzing is just part of the romance of the truck to me but I can see how it might get on your nerves setting in the cab. I've been pricing a few of these and one with 15k miles was 13 thousand
When I drove from MI to NE, that's 1000 miles, I drove 300 miles per tank before I got fuel and it has a 50 gallon tank. It also depends on what kind of fuel you're running.
Take your deuce out any where you want them put 3k miles a year on mine just around town. And as an added bonus blm rallies always appreciate an extra Smokey deuce 😹
@@justamanandhisdeuceandahal5399 Well, Trooper, let's get busy. I would love to watch you driving, like camera in the passengers' seat. Although, you do live in a lovely part of this country.
Wow i never knew alot down there btw its me jayden

Donald thanks for the comment. I do love this truck, not sure why, but its my favorite to drive.
Sweet truck, definatly gonna get one when the opportunity comes up!
I bought one last spring and I'd have to agree it's the most fun vehicle I've ever driven down the road
Yes I agree! I love every chance I get to drive it.

Your town seems peaceful! The fact no one complains at you casually parking duece in that parking lot makes me smile ear to ear
I am sure my neighbors were NOT impressed when I was driving it in my yard and through my ditch....lol
@@justamanandhisdeuceandahal5399 lol well they need to loosen up then haha when ya own a duece you've gotta expect duece things to be done!

i would like to know more about the remote brake fluid reservoir
This is down south , I take it? Informative, give us an update when you fix it up some more.
Thanks
Funny, here we have Fred Meyer...
I wonder what that truck would do in eastern Canada as a wood and hunting truck :) What kinda of mileage do she get?
That is always asked. Never studied but about 8 miles to the gallon is close

I hope you fixed that DOT 5 leak.
Yes replaced the wheel cylinder
