The crows actually played a big role. If you rewatch the whole series, something major happens every time a crow is shown. The first one was when Danny fell down the tree with the chainsaw.

@@elijahpelito4722 vision. I’m just judging by the decline of quality from episode to episode. IMO it peaks at the episode that Danny goes to church and “feels god” and falls off a cliff the last few episodes.

They didn't get reception until a couple of days out there. Maybe the tracking on Amy's phone was activated then, and her husband was able to locate her, shooting George in the process. If that's not what happened, then it made no sense as to why he appeared out of nowhere, when there was no sign of where either one of them had crashed.
One detail I would like to mention is about the crows is the conversation they had. It’s known that Crows have great memory and can even remember the faces of people from slight interactions. If you pay attention to the crow’s conversation, the crows mention that Danny has fed it before (i forgot which uploads it happens in) and the other crow mentions that Amy scared it’s uncle which is scene in the beginning of episode 2 when she points a gun at the crow. Another thing i’d like to point out is that in episode 8 or 9 when George confesses his little affair to Amy, he says that some people have a deeper level of spiritual connection and the psychedelic moment in the last episode illustrated that clearly; 2 people who felt alone in different ways were the yin and yang that they needed in their life
At the very end of the episode before they cut to credits, Danny raises his arm to hold Amy. This indicates to me that he is going to recover and the two can hopefully rebuild their lives together going forward.
Exactly!!! We can see his arm is moving around her so hopefully that's a sign he'll survive. I pretty sure he's not dead and they are gonna be together after that...
Loved it from start to finish. They both were so alike in their struggles - her with her struggle to find unconditional love & his to find someone to accept him (flaws & all) without either having to accept the traditional relationships expected of them - Danny’s parents wanting him to find a Korean, Christian girl to marry & Amy’s parents telling her she should just accept a partner regardless of their incompatible flaws (forced to be someone they aren’t, not feeling loved or loving them, & not being supported in any way). Also, both of their parent’s passed down generational trauma harder than genetics.
I don't understand the trauma because I have never met anyone or any parents who does not have failures, faults, secrets and lies, plus unrealistically high expectations and double standards for other people especially their children. The so called trauma is more like bad habits, bad behaviors and bad beliefs that parents pass down to the children. Also, I have never seen or believe anyone capable of love that is unconditional, I only have seen and believe in love that is reciprocal. Unconditional love just seem like an oversold and impractical fantasy concept that makes gullible people treat bad and dangerous people with kindness. These undeserved kindness very often just reinforces their bad behaviors. Even though certain bad people can be reasonably reformed, but most bad people will reoffend as bad habits are very difficult to change and bad beliefs are almost impossible to change. This show demonstrates this very well, both lead characters could not change their bad habits and beliefs until the seemingly happy ending where they have unconditional love is filmed to look more like death, heaven or fantasy land.
Speaking of their similarities, I nearly broke down during the shot of Amy eating the chicken sandwiches at Burger King. It felt uncomfortably relatable to me and I had to wonder if everyone at some point feels the same way to an extent and that's why the show is relatable or if it hits all viewers differently.

Yes, similar to True Detective where they just change the location, scenario and characters. This would be an awesome series going forward if they do it right.

The first 3 episodes seemed like a dejavu to me. I felt something very familiar but I did not know what it was. I told my husband to watch it because it is relatable. As the story continued to unfold, I realized why it seemed familiar. I am Amy and also Danny. Sometimes I am Paul and George to other people. I cried so much in the end because I've never felt so seen and understood. Mental health issues are no joke you can't really say "I know how you feel" to someone experiencing depression (like when Amy was trying to tell George about the lump she feels on her throat). We just have to try to be more understanding and caring and not be judgmental because we don't know what others are going through..
@@larryjones558 I did not notice that! I was too focused on Amy's feelings. I judged George to be a poor listener and not empathetic at that moment. I now understand what you're saying.
A few throughts. 1. This was an excellent series, it really kept you guessing the entire time, it was nearly impossible to call what was going to happen next. I appreciate that. 2. This is going to be Ally Wong's coming out party, her performance was excellent, rarely can stand-up comedians make that transition, she pulled it off. 3. They didn't die. When their phones catch reception it clearly shows that Amy's phone had it's "find my iPhone" on which gives clear exposition on how George found them etc etc... 4. The show leaves you wanting to know how their relationship plays out going forward, but you know that any epilogue would ruin it, it's frustrating in the best way possible.
Yeah kind of an odd way to describe her. Jordan even calls her husband a "wife" lol. Amy is the furthest thing from a housewife in this world. But also that plays into her loneliness.
Yeah I don’t think something that dropped this week can be “underrated”. And the actual ratings are 8.4 on IMDb and 100% on rt (as of now). That said I loved this show.
The first few episodes are great but it got real dumb real fast due to hacky writing. It’s almost as if it was intended to be 6 episodes but Netflix ordered 10 so they just started making shit up that wasn’t included in the original vision. Fun watch though.
A few other thoughts I had watching this -- - The final shot of Danny and Amy in the hospital bed reminded me of George's (Amy's husband) description of his affair -- "I think we were mirrored in the spirit realm." Even though Amy scoffed at the idea in the time, it seems to fit neatly her feud, and later love, for Danny -- the swirling lights over them could represent the spirit realm, either in a post-death existence (if they died) or a metaphorical expression (if they lived). Either way, they've finally found their spiritual match. - I do think it's interesting, post falling asleep in the woods, they woke up covered in branches. Early in the show, Amy describes her depression as "the ground... right here *on her chest*" and Danny sees flashes of the earth when he feels hopeless. The shot of the earth could be a metaphor of their shared depression. In the finale scene where they (maybe) die, the camera pushes into the ground... is this them returning to the earth? Is it them finally facing their depression with honesty? Are their lives and deaths both defined by loneliness, since (as they philosophize) God made them that way because he's also lonely? But in waking up, they removed the branches that have buried them. Love the meaning, even if I haven't pieced it out yet. - in his NYT review, Jamie Poniewozik describes the brilliance of beef as a metaphor for anger -- "It fills an emptiness, it sustains, it momentarily satisfies - even if, in excess, it’s terrible for your heart." What a beautiful thematic summary of the show.
I also thought about this in the end when they were talking through each other and about god that reminded me how how gorge was talking about energy and connections with people
in the chair museum scene one of the extras said something like "the ground, the earths original chair", and the ground is where they almost died. And the tamago chair that the rich lady really liked ended up being the object that hurt her leg and led to her death.
I don’t think they died I think the end scene was supposed to signify that they were connected on a multidimensional level just like george said he felt in his “emotional entanglement”. Amy was holding on to him in the hospital and when the lights were changing colors it showed danny holding on to amy right at the end to show that they were both connected to each other across dimensions
I forgot which episode but it insinuates Amy tried to (maybe) kill herself too, when George says something like "you know why" in response to her asking why he wouldnt give her the code to the safe, another parallel between their what seems to be opposite lives.
yeah it's kind of funny, because a friend was watching this show too. And he's like "oh man these two people hate each other so much, they're so different, Im sure they're going to kill each other in the end." I'm like: "Are we watching the same show? These are literally the same person."
@@RazingFeinyx I think thw show only works bc Danny and Amy kept escalating the situation instead of talking it out like adults (I also think this has to do w them sharing the burden their parents put on them). Paul & George aren't like them & haven't experienced that same burden from their parents so the beef wouldnt get to the ridiculous point it did this season. Meaning of there was a season 2, it'd be over in like 2 episodes
1:35 the crows are mentioned before. And they talk about their relationship to the two main characters. Danny nursed one of them back to health and that crow follows him around hoping to get fed again. And she pointed a gun at one of the crows. It's a fact that crows can remember people’s faces.
The fact that the series ends with Mayonaise by the smashing pumpkins made me teary eyed as i totally loved the series and didnt know it would end with one of my all time fav songs.. ❤️
George asked Amy about “Cosmic Twins”, referring to his connection and emotional entanglement with Mia. Amy dismissed the notion and later has that experience with Danny. The final episode to me showcases this materializing between Amy and Danny
Dope show. I've been a Steven Yeun fan since Walking Dead (I actually stopped watching WD after they pulled that bs with Glen) . I am also now a huge Ali Wong fan.
the ending should be taken literally, not that they were dead. the biggest reason is that the message behind is them finding eachother in this loneliness world, and stop themselves hurting others unintentionally or intentionally
Excellent. Great acting and deep story. Because of how deep each character is, a second season would work. But the story would need to be insane. Well done!
this serious was AMAZING not that race is totally relevant but Korean Americans should be very proud of this one. spring summer fall winter and spring is another one not to sleep on
Danny and Amy found unconditional love in each other. Even though Amy is married, that isn't true love. The ending represents true love with Amy and Danny finally realizing that they were made for each other.
I really liked the way it paid that off. From very early on it was obvious that they were a lot alike and the conflict between them prevented them from seeing it. It took a hell of a lot with an outrageous amount of collateral damage for them to reach that moment that allowed them to drop all the pretence and talk honestly. It takes some really good writing for a story to reach that point and for it to feel earned and moving
Loved it! I loved the comedy, drama, asian representation. I binged it on Easter Sunday. It’s funny how if upu juxtapose this with infinity pool you see people going through a life trial and changing but in this case in different ways. No season 2 is needed.
As a non-Asian, this was a great presentation of generational trauma in other cultures in its similarity to all adjacent cultures. I love how the show focused on showing the two living the exact same internal conflicts, anger and fear despite their polar opposite social status. In one the episodes Amy tells her daughter something within the lines of “We were poor when I had you, but I wish we stayed there” which reflects the source of her anger and frustration which is trying so hard to catch up with her elite circle. From her mother-in-law making comments about her house, spoiled husband who had it all growing up… . Danny’s on the same boat but on a different scale. They’re both people pleasers, working harder than they should to gain everyone’s approval as they both have only experienced conditional love. It goes to show that no matter how much they have (her trying to secure that multi million dollar deal and Danny struggling to build his parents a house) until they both connect with the right person who can love them unconditionally, they keep trying even harder for what seems like forever.
After every episode the only noise I could make was ‘wow’. I loved how unique it was, the acting was phenomenal, same with direction, lighting, set design, music etc. Just wow and 👍
I really enjoyed watching this show. The premise was very relatable. I’ve not been in a road rage incident that had me chasing someone down in my vehicle fueled with rage. But I have been in a situation of escalating conflict that starts with something small that gets more and more heated with every step but like in most situations it got to a point where I had to walk away before the hatred consumed me and took everything with it. I loved that Beef took it all the way but in a sort of poetic style. In the end it was beautiful and moving the way Danny and Amy were forced to work together to survive and to talk to each other and open up in ways they never had with anyone else. They’re two fundamentally broken people who seem like they could complete each other. The ending where Amy stayed by Danny’s side in hospital and lay in his hospital bed with him was very moving and I think that was the perfect note to end the series. Ambiguous enough for the viewer to draw their conclusions of what happens after. I could imagine the two of them rebuilding their lives together and feeling more complete than ever before but for them to support each other in a platonic capacity would have been equally valid. I found it interesting during the series it dropped plenty of hints that George was never the person to fill that void in Amy’s life. Her telling him that their sex like didn’t fulfil her, being too vanilla for her tastes. But more importantly Fumi sets it up for Amy to revive their marriage, all she had to do is lie and say that she never fucked Danny’s brother and she’d have had her marriage back. But instead she comes clean and tells him everything and he couldn’t handle it. I think the symbolism in that moment is that she had reached a point where she didn’t want to keep up a pretence. One that she probably felt she had to maintain to keep him interested in her ever since they first met. In that moment she showed him who she truly is and he basically said that’s not who he wanted because they were fundamentally incompatible. Conversely she revealed her true self to Danny when they were poisoned from eating wild berries and he didn’t reject her. They shared a similar feeling of emptiness and were able to bond. And for them to reach that they first had to let go of everything that they thought would fill that hole, their material possessions, the loved ones that they deceived and manipulated and everything that gave them a sense of security and their place in the world. Hell, they even needed to let go of their will to live as they were convinced that they would succumb to the poison and wouldn’t wake up the next day. Which seemed to be why when they woke up the next morning they had a renewed sense of purpose and the conflict and hatred they once had for each other was the furthest thing from their minds. In that desperate situation having each other was all they had and it seemed like it was an experience that changed them for the better. And after all the insane shit that happened it was so good to see it end on such a hopeful note
Best thing Netfilx has done in years. This show made me laugh, infuriated me, and kind of broke my heart. It is so well done. I just hope Neflix has the sense to end this Beef right here and not do a sequel. Don't ruin this gem! But give us more shows and movies of this caliber and perhaps I won't cancel my subscription after all (which I was about to do before this show sucked me back in!). Ali Wong and Steven Yeun are f-ing awesome! The supporting cast are pretty killer as well. We better see at least a couple of Emmys come out of this!
I think this will be a series in which new characters come every season and with actual things in life that cause beef that everyone can relate too. No matter how rich you are or how poor or how unfortunate you are we are people who can feel the same feelings. I love you all bravo to this show
I think they should do a season 2, but go to a completely different setting between two different people. I think that this story has concluded, but there can always be beef between two other people. And if the writers really want they can put a lil Easter egg in one episode of Danny or Amy or both. I think it could be very fitting. When I say Easter egg I mean something very small. It could something as small as them walking in the background or like Danny’s company appearing in an ad or even a small mention in the news that talks about a post events for split second. The news one would have to be background noise though, not like in your face showing you something on a tv.
so an anthology series? idk where they’d muster up the willpower to write another asian-represented season, I feel like this was pretty perfect all on its own, from the 2000s soundtrack to the characters experiences it feels like Lee Sung Jin’s opus cannot be replicated again even if they tried, there is no need for a season 2!
This was an amazing series, which so much depth and fantastic acting, especially from Ali Wong. I don't see how a season 2 could top this. They explored so many questions and ideas, what could be left for another season? This reminds me of the series Russian Doll. I loved season 1 so much, but could only get through one episode of season 2. It just wasn't the same.
So nobody is gonna mention why junie was on danny's car? George clearly put her there but why? To get custody for junie? And when she was talking to george on episode 9 the call suddenly cuts. It seemed like George intentionally put junie in the car I just dont know why.
And if you guys want more deep shit. In an episide Amy tells Danny that we are just a snake eating our own tail. A snake eating its own tail is the logo for Ouroboros which means a lot of thing eg. Infinity and the most important is death and re-birth. In the end they die (not actually die but ego death which happens after taking hallucinogens.) So they died but was reborn into a better version of themselves.
I'm not sure whther or not thy died but in the scene near the end they are walking towards the light at the end of the tunnel which is a popular end of life trope. And in the very last scene the camera pans upwards in a soul leaving the body gesture and Amy is in the foetal position mybe to be re-born or reincarnated. There are so many interpretations. This series really is something else. Another interpretaton could be that their old emotionally trapped selves are dead and they are re-born as more transparent versions of who they really are.
Crows also symbolise change and metamorphosis, especially in east asian culture. You see crows come back throughout the series, flying in front of danny etc. Maybe they appear in crucial moments in the series? idk mayb i have to watch it again but it the creators definitely meant for the crows to have this meaning
It would be really cool if they did Edwin's story and Daniel and Amy would be side characters .. so we can still see their progress without destroying their beautiful story line in season 1
A few thoughts on the artwork for the last episode. I don't think the colours pouring out of the body represents the hatred/poison that was consuming them. It's their true essence finally splurging from the vessels that carry them, aka their true selves finally being set free from the body.
I think deeper thank anything this show explores how hiding your true self can cause more damage than you think. We all think no can understand or relate to how we feel and even though we’re surrounded by people we feel alone, just want to be seen. But I learned early family, and love for yourself is key. Forgiving yourself is key.
Considering that the series is produced by A24, the crows scene reminds me of the conversation between rocks in Everything, Everywhere, All at once. Also produced by A24
Do glad my friends encouraged me to see this series. I assumed it was just more angry people. And it was, and people who never took responsibility of their actions & kept blaming everyone else, but what a ride! Great show!
I think that in the scene in which George finds them and supposedly shoots just Danny, it looks like the show is implying he could have killed both of them. You can only see both of their silhouettes and light at the end of the tunnel.
I think the earth/soil and the talking crows indicate that nature/the universe and all of us are part of a whole (the meaning of namaste). I think the intimacy under the tree, them lying on the ground, was them connecting not only with themselves but with everything else, allowing the transformation to occur. Definitely no to a second season. The drama centred on their disfunction. If they have healed and found love in each other, there should be no drama.
Great finale theories. Thanks for this. I totally loved this show. Best show, especially dramedy, of 2023. In some ways absurd but in the way that life can be sometimes absurd. The truth is you never really know a person best or appreciate who they are until you have gone toe to toe with them.
Ya I don't think this dude even watched the series lol reminded me of when I would just read the summary of a book and then fuck up my presentation in school
I rewatch episode 1 and I realised when dab y first visited Amy. They actually connected and the final scene is actually a continuation somewhat. It's crazy but watch it again.
That show was amazing on so many levels. I loved every scene, every metaphor, every message. Except I didn't really enjoy watching the rich lady being cut in half, but oh well.. I kinda wish they'd do another story like this with depthful messages. But different characters completely. I'm rooting for this in season 2 🙏🏻 and hope they won't continue this one. It's perfect.
I think reflecting on pausing before given him the finger showed she finally took accountability. Danny had previously by telling his brother of the college applications and burning down the house. This was more subtle, but with the air cleared, she acknowledged she was the asshole who started this whole thing. Perhaps atonement.
At first i was like "Ehh this is gonna be one of those comedic love stories" but it got more unique each episode, never did i expect for anyone to get killed in this show, especially Jordan getting her legs annihilated... gives me Barry vibes, how it starts pretty simple, yet goes to extreme slowly.
I thought Amy is not a housewife and actually had a profitable business that she sold to this blonde rich woman…? She often talked about how hard she worked for the company and that her work was also the reason why she wasn’t close to her husband and daughter.

Amy also discounted George there. Like he’s too perfect to feel depressed. At least that was my take from that scene.
@@larryjones558 I did not notice that! I was too focused on Amy's feelings. I judged George to be a poor listener and not empathetic at that moment. I now understand what you're saying.
@@mhelrosevillagomesa6144 it’s that nuance that makes the show great
Amen!!!❤❤❤
But at the end, we can see that his arm is moving around her so hopefully that's a sign he'll survive...
I pretty sure they're not dead.
It's a beautiful ending, no need for sequals..
Hence, 2nd season will be even more dramatic as Danny & Amy now has ‘beef’ with Paul, George, Fumi, the Billionaire’s gf, etc.
Amy is literally not a housewife her career is a huge part of the plot wtf
Right! She literally is jealous of women who get to stay at home while their men provide.
Yeah kind of an odd way to describe her. Jordan even calls her husband a "wife" lol. Amy is the furthest thing from a housewife in this world. But also that plays into her loneliness.
Ya this video was poorly made
I feel like this is a underrated masterpiece
Underrated? It's in Netflix's top 10 as it should be 🙂
It just dropped
Yeah I don’t think something that dropped this week can be “underrated”. And the actual ratings are 8.4 on IMDb and 100% on rt (as of now).
That said I loved this show.
yea, an underrated show with a near perfect rotten tomato score
The first few episodes are great but it got real dumb real fast due to hacky writing. It’s almost as if it was intended to be 6 episodes but Netflix ordered 10 so they just started making shit up that wasn’t included in the original vision. Fun watch though.
A few other thoughts I had watching this --
- The final shot of Danny and Amy in the hospital bed reminded me of George's (Amy's husband) description of his affair -- "I think we were mirrored in the spirit realm." Even though Amy scoffed at the idea in the time, it seems to fit neatly her feud, and later love, for Danny -- the swirling lights over them could represent the spirit realm, either in a post-death existence (if they died) or a metaphorical expression (if they lived).
You need a life!!! A job a purpose . You have way too much time on your hands to write all of that crap
@@kogniscentdidn't even think about that that's very interesting 🤔
I don’t think they died I think the end scene was supposed to signify that they were connected on a multidimensional level just like george said he felt in his “emotional entanglement”. Amy was holding on to him in the hospital and when the lights were changing colors it showed danny holding on to amy right at the end to show that they were both connected to each other across dimensions
I forgot which episode but it insinuates Amy tried to (maybe) kill herself too, when George says something like "you know why" in response to her asking why he wouldnt give her the code to the safe, another parallel between their what seems to be opposite lives.
totally.
yeah it's kind of funny, because a friend was watching this show too. And he's like "oh man these two people hate each other so much, they're so different, Im sure they're going to kill each other in the end."
I'm like: "Are we watching the same show? These are literally the same person."
Don't want a season 2! The beef is dead
Even though Amy and Danny’s beef is dead they still got beef with their own people. Danny with Paul and Amy with George.
Simple dont need a season2. History is over.
Heard it an anthology, so different story next season.
Yeah, it was getting a bit redundant.
Just finished binge watching.... brilliant! Very clever, great story, brilliant actors.... didn't want it to end.
This series is a medicine for my absurdist broken heart.
My favorite song. My buddy told me about it without spoilers and I lost my shit when mayonaise played and realized June was based off that song.
This show is pretty deep and hilarious.
Same!
the ending should be taken literally, not that they were dead. the biggest reason is that the message behind is them finding eachother in this loneliness world, and stop themselves hurting others unintentionally or intentionally
Excellent. Great acting and deep story. Because of how deep each character is, a second season would work. But the story would need to be insane. Well done!
The actor that plays Isaac created the art seen at the beginning of each episode
wtf, for real???? that's amazing!!!
@@younglittlejae I looked him up. He is a multimillionaire due to his art

I’m going to check this out too.
Danny and Amy found unconditional love in each other. Even though Amy is married, that isn't true love. The ending represents true love with Amy and Danny finally realizing that they were made for each other.
@@breakfastbean4359 Yes, this 100%. Divine twins.
@@tommaddi this is exactly how I felt about them during the ending too!
No. Nothing romantic here...
S Tier show/writing and for me specifically, I loved the portrayal of the Korean American life by Steven Yeun. I don't think I've ever felt so seen.
I'm glad Bobby Lee went to rehab and got sober, but at the same time, so sad he wasn't able to work side by side with his Best Friend, Cheeto Santino.
Was he really going to play bobby with cheeto? That makes sense
That was a great analysis!
Wow thx! I’ve been trying to make sense of it since I finished it yesterday. Thank you!
David Choe was fantastic and I loved the fake Bobby Lee Easter egg 😂
Bobby Lee should've been in this show lol
They were trolling him real hard, they are all good friends tho 😂
Best thing Netfilx has done in years. This show made me laugh, infuriated me, and kind of broke my heart. It is so well done. I just hope Neflix has the sense to end this Beef right here and not do a sequel. Don't ruin this gem! But give us more shows and movies of this caliber and perhaps I won't cancel my subscription after all (which I was about to do before this show sucked me back in!). Ali Wong and Steven Yeun are f-ing awesome! The supporting cast are pretty killer as well. We better see at least a couple of Emmys come out of this!
this was a great Asian American dark comedy. I can't believe I can say this multiple times a year....great year for asian cinematography....
I think this will be a series in which new characters come every season and with actual things in life that cause beef that everyone can relate too. No matter how rich you are or how poor or how unfortunate you are we are people who can feel the same feelings. I love you all bravo to this show
Twin Souls. That's what this whole thing was about at the end of the day.
Very true, twin flames.
Beef was amazingly delicious. Definitely a show that can be re-watched over and over in my book.
Season 2 can just be Paul starting an onlyfans 😍
@@bluberi9159nah.. I'd love a season 2
The book character first appears in Amy life as a kid in her room, not after discovering her father’s affair
Moral of the story: Get therapy
Western Therapy doesn't work with Asian minds 😬
Moral of the story was to be more empathetic
Western therapy doesn't work on Eastern minds.
“Western therapy doesn’t work on eastern minds” 😂
A24 is killing it with their movies and now this tv series. Fucking awesome studio.
I do hope they show their stories briefly in season 2. That show was so good
I'm not sure whther or not thy died but in the scene near the end they are walking towards the light at the end of the tunnel which is a popular end of life trope.
So glad you covered this. I loved/hate the cousin, hopefully we'll get a season two.
Sales on Burger King chicken sandwiches are skyrocketing after this show
It would be really cool if they did Edwin's story and Daniel and Amy would be side characters .. so we can still see their progress without destroying their beautiful story line in season 1
that might be a good idea, but i would pick paul and issac as the main characters
A few thoughts on the artwork for the last episode. I don't think the colours pouring out of the body represents the hatred/poison that was consuming them. It's their true essence finally splurging from the vessels that carry them, aka their true selves finally being set free from the body.
They shouldn't make a season 2 this was too perfect to have one😭😭
I think deeper thank anything this show explores how hiding your true self can cause more damage than you think. We all think no can understand or relate to how we feel and even though we’re surrounded by people we feel alone, just want to be seen. But I learned early family, and love for yourself is key. Forgiving yourself is key.
the scene where danny-amy says “i see your life. poor thing.”
favorite scene i cried and i dont cry often to movies or shows
Finally!! I've been waiting for this!
0:34 did this person even watch the show???? "lonely housewife?"
The second to last episode had me on the edge of my seat
Amy was literally not a housewife, infact she worked so hard she wanted to be a housewife
Its obvious Danny doesn’t die you see his right arm begin to move at the end to hug Amy
Dude, it caught my attention so much, just finished, can`t wait to see a second temp
This is really a masterpiece...
We deserve more of this stuff😊❤
You’re not going to address that his arm eventually moves?
Great finale theories. Thanks for this. I totally loved this show. Best show, especially dramedy, of 2023. In some ways absurd but in the way that life can be sometimes absurd. The truth is you never really know a person best or appreciate who they are until you have gone toe to toe with them.
Well, at the end, we can see that his arm is moving around her so hopefully that's a sign he'll survive...
She wasn’t a lonely housewife (that was the husband/ stay at home dad). Amy was a lonely entrepreneur/ business woman.
Ya I don't think this dude even watched the series lol reminded me of when I would just read the summary of a book and then fuck up my presentation in school

I would love a 2nd season even though it’s a miniseries. Still a lot of shit they could touch on. I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with this show 😂
this show had some of the best needledrops in tv history
Many of us will identify with a character in this series or several at a given time and situation.
The creators obviously didn't watch the show - Amy is clearly not a housewife. WTF?
I rewatch episode 1 and I realised when dab y first visited Amy. They actually connected and the final scene is actually a continuation somewhat. It's crazy but watch it again.
All the artwork from each intro was made by David Choe, who also plays Danny’s cousin.
This show is amazing I just finished it and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time
That show was amazing on so many levels.
Me and my wife binged this entire series yesterday it was amazing
Couldn’t wait for your take on this. Best explanations on everything Think Story ❤ always my first go to!
Housewife? What, you are blind? She is a business woman, her husband is a housewife
just dropping by to say that Amy is not a housewife
I think reflecting on pausing before given him the finger showed she finally took accountability. Danny had previously by telling his brother of the college applications and burning down the house. This was more subtle, but with the air cleared, she acknowledged she was the asshole who started this whole thing. Perhaps atonement.

The scene when he goes to church was amazing
I thought Amy is not a housewife and actually had a profitable business that she sold to this blonde rich woman…? She often talked about how hard she worked for the company and that her work was also the reason why she wasn’t close to her husband and daughter.
Started so strong, but really limped across the finish line.
Beef was well written story that could have continued beyond the ending but that not what beef is about. Bravo to the writers and acfors of this show.
if this is an anthology series like i’ve heard, i hope if there is a season 2, it can be just as amazing as the first.
Episode 9 was insane 😂
I think we deserve one more episode of there is not a season 2.
