This video was wonderful. Your Mother's stitching was gorgeous. I'm so glad she was willing to let you show it. The magpie are the coolest birds, I wish I lived where they do so I could see one in person. What a pretty young lady Ness is just a beautiful as her Mother.
What a fun Flosstube. Ness was a star with her Welsh knowledge and her trying the treats. You two make such a great pair with the treat box. I had a look at old Cross Stitch magazines and they had a pretty realistic bumblebee in the August 2021 issue as well just in case anyone has Readly. Thanks for another great weekly visit.

Your mother's stitching looks beautiful. I hope you will show them again when she works out what and how she will finish them off. We have a black and white bird over here called a Magpie who loves to swoop you when they are nesting in the Summer time.

We have a magpie who visits the tree outside the front of our house (we have feeders up). We say hello "Mr Magpie, how's you wife" Can't think of a sentence with chicken and summer in 😂😂 I see a career for Ness in presenting. Very confident and a natural in front of the camera
I so enjoyed Ness’ assessment on the Japanese food. She is more adventurous than me. I brought peanut butter and crackers with me when I went to Japan so I would not starve.

I thoroughly enjoyed Nessa’s Welsh translations. I bet she is quite a clever girl. Judging from the quantity of different crisps, I’m guessing they are fond of crunchy snacks in Japan. I’m glad there weren’t too many offensive ones as in some of the past boxes. I stitched Nessie Mitchell as my blessing sampler in January. I’m feeling the urge to start be not a dunce. That one makes me laugh.

Your tip about the placemats for finishing is a game changer ! I was able to do a flawless oval finish and another oddly shaped ornament finish. I dont own a die cutter and now don't need one. I enjoy all your videos.

P.S. Recording videos in the morning/daytime seems to be working well! The video is much crisper for viewing and the colors of your thread and fabric are more vivid.

Enjoying your channel, how lovely to see your first ever cross stitch, still have a little needle case made my daughter 30 years ago which I use daily. I’ve been thinking about a pattern to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I think the Two For Joy would be perfect as I love the magpie rhyme.

Hello! I am just catching up on watching my videos, and this was a delightful episode! Your mum’s stitching is beautiful! The Mill Hill nativity kits are so cute! And what a wonderful surprise to finally meet Ness!! She is precious! She is about the same age as my granddaughter who is 9. She was a delight to watch and her willingness to taste some of the treats in the box was great! I hope that she will visit and guest star more often!
