Thank you for joining us on "The One Year Bible Journey." This is an amazing way to read straight through the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation in 365 days. It is broken down to an average of three chapters each day and you can easily fit it into your busy schedule since you only need to commit to about 15 minutes or so daily. Listen to the audio in the car. Listen while you are getting ready in the morning. Or, you can spend quality time with your children every evening during their bedtime routine. There is no commentary or opinions stated... just reading the Bible. The best part is that you can follow along and read it yourself or you can just listen to the audio. Every Christian wants to spend time in God's Word. Join us on this journey. You will be so glad that you did!

I have a lot of catching up to do! 😊🙏 Starting with day 1!
Thank you, I will be following along this year. I'm a newer Christian. I have read Revelation, John and some more of the New Testament but want to now start at the beginning. I already have questions in this first couple chapters, which I'll be looking into but thought I'd write them here too in case anyone wanted to discuss. "And the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters": Was there already water? Did He create water previously to creating the earth? Obviously bigger questions we won't know until we die, like did God create other dimensions or other places before creating heaven & earth? Where did God come from? Etc but I'll try to just stick to explicit questions from the text lol. "the Lord God walking in the garden": was God in human form on legs at this point? And after Adam & Eve sinned, God made them tunics of skin- was that animal skin or is it saying humans didn't have skin at that point & God made a human skin covering?
He placed "cherubim"- is that an angel?
He punished the snake by making him move around on it's belly, did the snake have legs previously?
All great questions. I pray you are enjoying the readings. Even though I can't get into many of these questions right now, please continue to read along with us. When we get to the gospels and the New Testament writings, so much will begin to make sense and come together. In the mean time, I encourage you to find a church near you with a pastoral staff that values the Word and loves people. Thank you for this! I read through the bible a decade ago. Started reading other books last month but decided I would start over this year and really refresh my memory. It can be hard reading in the morning, but I can cast this on my TV and really get into it since you're reading along. I'm looking forward to making a habit with this. God bless! 🙏🏾
