What an awesome lineup of great Boston Bruins players. Some of my favorites were there! Bobby Orr,Derek Sanderson, Cam Neely,Terry O Reilly. Derek Sanderson was my favorite. The Turk.
This was a pleasure and privilege to witness. Even as a Canucks team fan where we just had to win one more game that year....... still having the chance to shake the hand of Willie and Bobby when I did is a magic experience never to be forgotten.
My dad grew watching the Kraut Line. My grandparents were German immigrants so he latched onto them. My dad and his friends would skate and play hockey on the Charles River and Boby Bauer would stop by and skate with him and his friends just ragging the puck and having fun.
Nice to see Phil Esposito there. The man was extremely bitter at the Bruins for years after he got traded and he now bleeds Tampa Bay Lightning blue and white (for very good reason). Glad he was able to put all that aside for one night.

They should have had Schneider starting in nets for game six instead of going again with Luongo. If so they probably would have won the Cup in Boston. But no, they went with their multi-million dollar starter even though that night he leaked like a seive. Blame Vigneault and/or Mike Gillis for that tragic brain-cramp. After game six I knew it was over and didn't even bother to watch game seven. However, I did watch the all those total yahoo-goofs as they wrecked Vancouver ... no class punks!
