You have no idea the amount of malfunctions. I spent $9,100 for a paper weight. It has been sitting in my shed basically since the day it arrived. It arrived, broken. In addition, most of the screws were loose, and the frame was out of whack, and the chain started busting off the sprockets.

Bought a F420 avoid Christmas and had it assembled. Never used, but wish I would have gotten 4wd. Anyone interested in it, I would sell it, but won't take a loss. Like I said, never uses. Can't wait for it to get warmer do I can start biking. They say you never forget. I'll find out!

I did Madrid-Duentza (Mali) by a fat trike with a fat trailer. Almost 80kg, with all luggage, and tons of water. Spani,Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Cote d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Mali, 8 months, 10.000 km. I had a lot of fun 😂

I recently bought this quad bike directly from the manufacturer and i will never recommend it to anyone. Do not believe the videos. This bike is extremely of poor quality and is not worth fraction of the selling price. I am a verified buyer and you make contact me as reference prior buying it. The poorest quality ever made.

Comparing the cost of this sort of thing to a truck or a motorcycle or etc is common, but is a bit like saying “I can buy a broken down house in the hood for cheaper than a Ferrari.” No doubt it’s expensive, you don’t benefit from economies of scale on high end bikes and similar objects because they are usually created to fit a specific niche demanded by a handful of people who are very particular about the performance characteristics they want out of the thing they are spending large amounts of money on. You additionally are comparing a used car to a new bike, most used bikes lose a lot of their value as well, in fact most bikes tend to depreciate harder initially, meaning that you can score a pretty good deal after a few years usually. I think another point that people don’t realize is that expensive bikes are expensive because they are engineered to be ridden in ways and under conditions that an average rider cannot fully appreciate, a bit like if you put an average driver in a high performance racing car. A bike is a bike to the majority of people, but a seasoned racer can tell the difference between two bikes of a reasonable quality. Yeah this thing is basically two ebikes stapled together, meaning it’s an even more niche thing than a high performance regular bicycle, and therefore all the previous points x2.

Recumbent trikes and quads existed before the 'Mountain bike' was invented, as did motorised off road vehicles. This is just another variation. Riding some of that terrain on an MTB is simple and easy? I think many people would disagree. Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean everyone else agrees. Otherwise the MTB would never have been created. 🙄

That just shows how narrow minded and obtuse you are. You assume that everyone wants or can do the same things. What about a car? 4 wheels, a motor, comfy seats... and most can't drive over this type of terrain, even many 4x4 vehicles. I guess they must be useless too? 🙄

As long as offroading can still be done, I'll accommodate a 4X4 electric bike. It still doesn't compare to my Polaris RzR, or a K5 Blazer, but this device still looks like fun!

Your definition of "badass" may not be the same as everyone else's. Fun can be had at any speed, and challenges can be found everywhere. Riding recumbents is fun. So is riding a Penny Farthing, a unicycle, an MTB, a hybrid, a road bike or BMX, driving a sports car, a 4x4 or even a truck.

Have you looked at the price of mountain bikes lately? There are lots of 2 wheeled mountain bikes with far less engineering that cost in excess of 10 or 12 THOUSAND dollars. This is actually a pretty decent price when you look at the high end MTB market.

As someone witg bad balance i cant ride a regular Bicycle/MTB but this could be my solution. And since I don't want to drive it would function as a car without the insurance, fuel and repair cost. I like this quad but only downside i see for myself it does not fold up for storage.
Would it be possible to install 4x1000watt hub drives?

I'm sorry, but people like you are so narrow minded. Just because you don't see the appeal, doesn't mean others can't. Recumbents are great fun, whether bikes, trikes or quads. Road cyclists said the same about BMX and MTBs, commuter cyclists said the same about drop bar 'racing' bikes. Most people laughed at the idea of full suspension on a bicycle. Motorbikes exist, yet most people still drive cars. You need to broaden your horizons a bit, go try different things.
