I bought this phone a few days ago and I have to say it is by far the best mobile I have ever owned. I have had various Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi and Oppo mobiles, which in my mind have always outdone the likes of Samsung and Sony, their curved screens, better features and long battery life plus their really good cameras have always been a major factor in owning them. Honor have stood out recently and the Magic6 Pro is by far the best. Whenever I upgrade to a new mobile I always go for better camera features and storage and this phone has it all and much more. The only negative would be as one or two of the comments have stated, a lot of the less well known mobiles do not have good resale value but you will not be selling this phone for some time.

The magic 6 pro perfected the 5 pro's design. And for those Cameras, they are sharp, detailed and colourful. Huge battery at 5600mah, 5000 nits and and impressive 180MP telephoto periscope. I'm blown away and I think I want one now😂
50Mpx 1/1.3" is a smaller sensor than in Magic 5 Pro (50 1/1.13"). The 1.4 aperture does not have a major impact on the background blur in portraits, because the blur is added by software to the extent we set in the camera application.
Please tell me they added the ability to change portrait blur after the shot is taken! That is the only major problem i'm having with my 5pro. I don't take portraits at all, cause if it misses - thats it, its ruined forever. Otherwise, I'm loving it and not regretting switching from Samsung, that portrait is the only real big bummer.
Wouldn't it be better if you compared the images captured via S24 Ultra side by side Honor 6? The title of this video demands that. if those photos were taken without doing any adjustings in any software then the camera module and software seems to be excellent.

I thought I preferred curved too but I realized I want flat and square after using S24U. Its not comfortable on my hand but the looks are much more pleasing. Curved feels like I'm being robbed out of screen estate
@timurklc6912 I love curved displays. They felt really good, plus, it made a lot of big phones not feel as big. They sure looked real good. If you have a Galaxy Note or something,and you had to get to the edge I could understand. I didn't have too many issues with palm rejection. But everyone's opinions are subjective. So, I guess I got to live with it now.

Vivo is better in terms of tele photo. Their processing and featureset is also superior. Only thing I like with Honor is the builtin LUTs (especially the classic one) in Movie mode. Vivo has nothing that can compete directly with this very good out of the box look. Vivo on the other hand allows importing your own LUT if you want to
does the battery of Honor M6P as good as the internet said? i've read some cases on forums and they said the battery drain quickly or the screen-on time didn't as expected? I love this phone but still have some confused

Just like the older devices it has Smart Charge which will charge up to 80% and then learns from your behavior and charges the rest shortly before you might need the phone

Why does every reviewer complain about vivid photos? People taking photos with a phone are not pro photographers and they don't edit colors after taking shots, so mostly they like more vivid photos. For example, I have Huawei P30Pro and this phone's vivid mode is not good, darks are too dark... so I end up using standard mode which has more accurate color profile... and that makes me manually edit every important photo. From that perspective I would take Vivid photos (if done right) every day of the week.
The biggest battery in a non gaming flagship is in the Nubia Z60 Ultra (6000mAh), which is a good idea for a review actually as it costs half the price of the honor and its almost as good.

I will be requiring a good camera phone mainly for my real estate work. And a phone good for the eyes is also important. Other features are not that important and my budget is bit tight as well. So, I just have purchased my first Honor phone - Magic 6 PRO. I got it for 900 Euro and I am simply blown away with features. The only thing that I am missing is AI translation of my calls to different languages.
Is there any noticeable difference in this phone and Samsung s24u's screen clarity while watching movies and stuff as this phone has a lower resolution. I would consider buying it if the screen is crisp enough. Also I would like to know about the temp rise while high performance gaming and water touch display please. Gotta clear all doubts before buying it.
I'd say the biggest difference between those screens is the fact that honor's screen won't give you dry eyes sensation, nor headaches when watching at night, whereas Samsung screen is notorious on that topic (they have "bumped" the pwm to 480hz on s24ultra, every other ultra had 240hz). I will never get another Samsung phone until they fix all the issues (specially with camera focus and shutter speed, and I doubt they will fix this, since it's been the issue since s3).

I have the Magic 5 pro and I'm not upgrading to the magic 6 pro ..No charger in the box , no free clear case and no free top of the range earphones HONOR Earbuds 3 Pro True Wireless £170 that came with the magic 5 pro free and wireless Honor stand £84 that came free too and the official black bumper case that came free £29.99 with the Honor Magic 5 pro all for £849.49 with discount voucher from Honor.. It's not a major difference between the 5 and 6 .. I will not upgrade. Not for £1000 which it will cost to get the 80w charger and case ..Even with the discount vouchers you get for the Honor Magic 6 pro ...why did Honor stop the free charger and free cases X2 and free earphones and free wireless stand it's madness... Honor has gone same way as Apple and Samsung pay more get less ...

@@Avner-sj2ky I use the device as intended. Max res pics and 4k60 video. I do not enjoy going through folders and backing picture up and such. Too much time. I want to use it and never be without storage. I have 512GB now which was always plenty but the last year it filled up quickly. 1TB for me, no 512GB especially not looking a couple of years down the road.
I bought the Honor Magic 5 Pro at launch but didn't like the software, so I bought the OnePlus 12 and it is amazing! Best phone I've ever had and believe me I'm known to have many phones from different brands, all flagship too!
I loved my Honor phone that i had a couple of years ago, just a shame it's still banned so can't get all the apps. I just got the S24 Ultra and am really happy with it. Easily the best phone I've ever had. Closely followed by the HTC one.
@timurklc6912 from what I read huawei had the ban/restrictions which is why they created sub brand honor so they won't get restricted for global users, but I don't own honor so i don't know how it compared to Samsung
The magic 6 Pro might actually be my favourite design of the year, They took the circular design that everyone copied from Huawei and actually made it original which is ironic since it's honor, but it's great
hi mate, can you explain why you can watch youtube for ten hours on the Honor Magic 6 pro with just 40% battery life in your test, while in other youtuber's reviews the Magic 6 pro last only short of 8 hours with the battery draining from 100% to zero?
The honor has a bigger battery than the S24 Ultra. Were you expecting it to use more battery in 3DMark? You also have to consider it's using a lower resolutuon which is a huge saving in 3D games, so not a big surprise.

I am a fan of curved screens. They are more ergonomical. Swiping gestures feel much better than on a flat screen.

The Honor Magic 6 pro has a lower resolution screen compared to the Honor Magic 5 pro
We can create clone of almost every app (like Amazon seller app and Google authenticator app) on Redmi or Xiaomi's phone. Can we do the same on Honor Magic 6 pro ? Please reply...

Hi mate is there much difference between the magic 5 pro and the 6 pro? Is it worth the upgrade?
I have the Magic 5 pro and I'm not upgrading to the magic 6 pro ..No charger in the box , no free clear case and no free top of the range earphones HONOR Earbuds 3 Pro True Wireless £170 that came with the magic 5 pro free and wireless Honor stand £84 that came free too and the official black bumper case that came free £29.99 with the Honor Magic 5 pro all for £849.49 with discount voucher from Honor.. It's not a major difference between the 5 and 6 .. I will not upgrade. Not for £1000 which it will cost to get the 80w charger and case ..Even with the discount vouchers you get for the Honor Magic 6 pro ...why did Honor stop the free charger and free cases X2 and free earphones and free wireless stand it's madness... Honor has gone same way as Apple and Samsung pay more get less ...

The video shows some of the differences - but refreshed design, snapdragon 8 gen 3, brighter/faster screen, longer battery and MUCH better cameras :)

Can you do split screen apps? I had the Magic 4 pro and you couldn't.
Split Screen is also supported on the Magic 4 Pro. Just drag and hold from either site edges and see the quick launch bar appear. Drag the icon to the top or bottom to position it

@Roomer645 not worth it 512 gb is enough and the battery life matter more to me my s23 ultra battery has dropped a lot since the one ui 6.0 and my honor magic 5 pro is way better so I'll add the magic 6 pro this time to

Cloud storage is always slow and can't be used everywhere.

@@Roomer645 dude 3 different batteries lithium polymer at the bottom aka all Chinese phones 2 lithium ion less safe than lithium polymer but degrade slower and silicon carbon at the top for honor magic 6 pro and magic v2 only why would you like vivo and 512 gb is enough I have so many games and I downloaded many animation and still have over 200gb left

Max res pics and 4k60 video. I do not enjoy going through folders and backing picture up and such. Too much time.
I want to use it and never be without storage.
I have 512GB now which was always plenty but the last year it filled up quickly.
1TB for me, no 512GB especially not looking a couple of years down the road.
I bought the Honor Magic 5 Pro at launch but didn't like the software, so I bought the OnePlus 12 and it is amazing! Best phone I've ever had and believe me I'm known to have many phones from different brands, all flagship too!

I loved my Honor phone that i had a couple of years ago, just a shame it's still banned so can't get all the apps. I just got the S24 Ultra and am really happy with it. Easily the best phone I've ever had. Closely followed by the HTC one.

@timurklc6912 from what I read huawei had the ban/restrictions which is why they created sub brand honor so they won't get restricted for global users, but I don't own honor so i don't know how it compared to Samsung
@@belfloerHonor was there before the ban. Huawei just sold if afterwards and it's now a separate company that supports Google suite.
This is 1st time I heard you can't download some apps in Honor . That only apply to huawei .

They took the circular design that everyone copied from Huawei and actually made it original which is ironic since it's honor, but it's great
hi mate, can you explain why you can watch youtube for ten hours on the Honor Magic 6 pro with just 40% battery life in your test, while in other youtuber's reviews the Magic 6 pro last only short of 8 hours with the battery draining from 100% to zero?

The honor has a bigger battery than the S24 Ultra. Were you expecting it to use more battery in 3DMark? You also have to consider it's using a lower resolutuon which is a huge saving in 3D games, so not a big surprise.

And on what resolution was the s24 ultra during the battery drain test? Ideally it should have matched the honor as it has a lower resolution.
