It would be very long, like an airport security line. There was someone at East Coast Comic Con, who waited for 1hr and 30min, just to get the Marvel artist George Perez's autograph. It makes you wonder, if Donald would had attended a movie convention or not. I know that Jamie Lee Curtis appeared once at Horrorhound Weekend. Not counting Blizzcon, EVO and San Diego Comic Con.
@@TheFilmgirlProjectWOW!!! I was surprised to see Dee Wallace at the end!! I didn't see that coming at all. It went from a bunch of different bit part actors to her. She's a legend in the horror industry. She seemed very down to earth and very receptive as well. You could tell that she was truly into the conversation she was having with you. And she initiated a lot of it herself. Very cool!!
@@ppiorkowski1502 You should listen to her on Michael Rosenbaum's podcast "Inside of You". It is one of my favorite episodes because of her. She talks about her life and shares some of the wisdom she's learned over the years. Whenever I meet people I like to talk to them about other things that they've done aside from what they're known for. They get excited to talk about it. Normal people were having her sign E.T. posters and I was over there having a mini therapy session. haha I felt lucky I got to have that interaction with her.
@@ppiorkowski1502She has been in some incredible movies, like E.T. for one, and that is huge. She was awesome in Cujo. As well as other smaller parts. I forgot she was in Jeepers Creepers 3 as well, until I watched it this weekend. She seems as you said very down to earth and not judgemental at all. I had a huge crush on her when I saw E.T. as a kid. Well a teenage kid. Her smile was so contagious and beautiful. Seeing her would have been amazing.
Dee was great. I knew she had a background in counseling and helping people, so I wanted to share a little bit about my journey and her validating everything I've been doing made me feel really good like I'm on the right path.
@@TheFilmgirlProject of course I’m sure was an amazing experience! And was inspiring! And my support to you for all you do! Will definitely keep an eye out for more videos have a great day! 🙂
That's so cool of celebrities signing your Halloween posters. most are so full of themselves when you go and meet other , kinds of celebrities like athletes or singers. great video I enjoyed it 👍
Thanks! Luckily, I haven't run into that yet at conventions. I know those people are out there, but I consider a few different factors when deciding to meet someone and one of the biggest factors is how they treat their fans and people in general. I also try not to pre-judge someone if I don't know anything about them or their reputation. Conventions are smart too about not allowing bad apples to return to their cons. The horror genre in general has a lot of really great people.
Nick Castle is the coolest dude. Man helped portray a character that in my mind is iconic as someone like Darth Vader and he’s just the coolest, most humble guy it seems like. Glad you had a good time!
Thanks and good luck! I only attended one day, so for the 50th I hope to make it a full weekend to take advantage of everything this event has to offer.
Very well done! I enjoyed you sharing your meetings with the cast. My son & I went Saturday & had a blast. He's 9 and cosplayed as little Michael Myers.🎃
It was very surreal meeting someone who was in a movie you've seen 100x and talking to them about that movie. And then the cherry on top was her saying "Lindsey" in the voice which was what I was hoping for.
Thanks for watching! It was very surreal. I've been to other horror conventions where I've met people, but I had never met anyone from the Halloween franchise so having them all under one roof was very cool.
It was held at the Pasadena Convention Center here in SoCal. They only do it every 5 years so the next one will be the 50th in 2028. It hasn't officially been announced, but I feel like if they do 1 more the 50th would be a good one to end on.
@@TheFilmgirlProject Oh wow that would be very cool ! Well I'm in Michigan so I probably will never be able to attend but looks like it was fun ! LOVE the recent Halloween trilogy as well as the original of course . Thanks for responding. Happy Halloween 🎃 !
I remember watching this as a kid. Then seeing 🎃👻Halloween II👻🎃 afterwards and LOL I needed surgery. As a younger kid surgery was scary enough, but after 🎃Halloween II🎃 and the hospital scenes? I'll admit I was creeped out. Especially at 🌙night🌙! These movies were and are the PERFECT Halloween party movies. Sorry Blumhouse but the originals are far far better than your versions.
That would be amazing, but she would probably break the convention. Haha I would hope if she came that they would pre-sell a limited # of autograph tickets. That would take the stress off having to wait in line all day and deal with crowds.
According to Sean Clark she was on deck to be there but canceled a couple days prior. John Carpenter was there Sunday which was cool. He did a panel and I saw photos of him walking the convention floor.
Dee Wallace looks like a fun person to interact with she seems so pleasant and nice and hope one day I can talk to about her movie/acting career.
I can only imagine how long the line would be for Donald Pleasance if he was still with us

@@TheFilmgirlProject couldn’t agree more. I’m partial to James Jude Courtney’s recent work as well. But in this case, the OG is still the best!

Oh nice! Thanks for doing that.
Enjoyed this video and would've had a blast there. Halloween is my favorite horror film. I would've told Dee Wallace that Cujo really stressed me out.
Haha I thought about just having her sign an ET poster like a normal person, but instead I went for the book and a therapy session. I have no regrets.

What is Dee Wallace doing in a Halloween convention?
She was in the Rob Zombie "Halloween" movie.
