I'm with you! Saw it at the Dedham Showcase Cinema the weekend it came out. I still remember some guy behind us saying it was "tasteless" to his girlfriend.
Great panel! I laughed so hard when Tom Atkins said “She got eaten out by the creeps” and Stacy Nelkin said “Did you mean to say that, Tom?” followed by Tommy Lee Wallace saying “We didn’t leave that part in the movie.” 😂 🤣
One of the most frightening images in my mind from when I was a kid was watching Dick Warlock pour gas onto his face and setting himself on fire-I didn’t even know what it was from I just remember being very young and seeing that on tv
@@robertsommerfield6716 my parents allowed me to rent the vhs when I was a kid coz it was rated 15 in Ireland. I was allowed watch 15 movies as a small child but 18 was off limits lol that scene creeped me out too
Its a great stand alone movie with a Halloween theme. I didn't care that Myers wasn't in it. Loved the film since I saw it on Video rental back in the 80s. The score alone is amazing, Carpenter at his best.
Once we all realized that it had nothing to do with Michael Myers… We all said you know what??… It's a pretty damn good movie… Ha ha ha ha ha great to see the crew up there!

The opening scene with the masked kids on the hill and the orange sky is the quintessential aesthetic of Halloween in my mind
