The mask you are wearing, which appears to be an N95, requires a good seal to be effective. The nose metal piece should be pinched to set tightly along the nose. The straps do not both go over the ear as that will prevent a good seal on the chin. The best way to wear it is with the top strap under the ear and the top strap above the ear. Finally dusk masks require a good seal along the edge. Facial hair prevents this. While the particulate from the resin is rather large, you are not as protected from it as you may think you were.
This is currently my favourite miniature painting series! I love titans and dioramas! I can't wait too see, how great it looks in the end, love from Hobart, Tasmania 💖
I love how almost every youtuber thats gotten a titan in the "titans arms race" thats been happening over the past few years has done everything with them except follow the instructions.
"the corpse is cannon" my by far favorite quote of this video. This entire series has been so exciting! Following updates here, and projects on the discord is insanely hype building! Y'all are insane!
Loving this series. Thank you SO much for the 'do not try at home' and making it clear you had the safety tools throughout the video. It's so responsible for calling out these things so that when people DO try this at home, they also know they should be thinking about health and safety. You all are the BEST!
Thank you so much for addressing safety issues!!! Sometimes I worry about the TH-camrs I love to watch. Another TH-camr (actually a TH-cam couple) I love to watch often works with resin, and they address safety issues as wells.
Fun fact about resin safety. It's only extra toxic BEFORE it's fully cured. After it's cured, it's no different than any regular plastic models. That being said, it's clearly a good idea to mask up when grinding anything, but resin is no more or less dangerous than the normal plastic after it's cured.
if you turned the reaver the other way, the hole would point towards the cliff side, where you could add an extra small tunnel that a unit could use for cover. like maybe the blast that shot through the reaver came from behind
It will be fun to see how it ends up. I also love how across YT everyone is trying something else. Midwinter Minis build a nice titan, Squidmar makes a nice Diorama and you guys build a gaming tablet. Great time to be alive. Love you guys.
I think that ultra-rust really fits well with the story of it being on Mars for 10,000 years. Great job and great video! Looking forward to seeing the finished board.
I thought I would replicate some of these techniques on my unbuilt Adeptus Titanicus minis. But even on the smaller scale this is far beyond my skill level… or beyond the amount of time I can dedicate to the hobby. Incredible build, thank you for sharing!
I feel like I breathed in a resin particle just watching this. :D Glad you guys are showing and describing all your safety measures. It's super important in our hobby (and we're all guilty of not being careful now and again, I'm sure). Loving this series so much, keep up the great work!
These are my favorite videos from you so far. Love this progress and you guys are so talented. Would love to see longer episodes, maybe streams of you painting or working on some projects. Pure entertainment
As you are now well into making titans, I have a little challenge you might like. Scratch built an Imperator! Does not matter if it is Imperial or Chaos Preferably not blown up. Also, you may include Jazza if he feels up for it 😉
Man that hole through looks so good! I have a reaver on its way via super heavy drop ship hope he’s here by mid week next week!! Looking forward to seeing the next stage of this!
I think resin is pretty pliable around 140-160° celcius. I've worked with resin parts in the medical industry for some years now. If I have to adjust a part I just use a heat gun set to 200° and wing it. But as I said, arounf 140-160 and you should be golden! Much easier than hairdryers lol.
Soldering iron works wonders m8, I did it on a busted rhino I bought for terrain and it made a “bead” around the hole and looked proper melty. I’m not sure if resin would give you the same thing, but worth a shot.
absolutely phenomenal! one thing I noticed though is that the blast looks like it took the titan from below it, maybe from a shadow sword or something, not from another titan
Hey, just a safety tip- not as important with a reciprocating saw- but it still applies- Don't use sturdy gloves with power tools. They won't save your hand, they'll only get caught in addition to cutting you and maybe break bones. Potential for fingers to get pulled into tools. It's recommended to use them without gloves and if you get nicked by them you get cut but no more serious injuries. If you want to keep resin dust off you, use latex gloves. The won't pull fingers into tools if you nick a tool.
This was one of the more stressful of these videos to watch. That shot with the drill bit that tore the part from the vice and the part where they shorted the power being at the top
If you guys need to bend big pieces of resin again, maybe a few (or many) minutes bath in a pot of boiling water on the stove? Really soak the piece to heat it up through. The final result is truly awesome. For the knee pad with the writing upside down, put some more candles on it etc... Maybe someone wrote the text after the battle and made a small shrine with it.
Maybe you guys should try one day miniature painting one tank from the game, maybe, or even a diorama of a battle to celebrate the destruction upgrade! The cherry on top would be releasing TOP SECRET Australian Tank details or manuals!
So Dave palms the dangerous jobs involving resin dust off to Murray then comes back to work on the titan and get some camera time when the danger has subsided. Nice one.
It looks so freaking awesome. I wonder if there was a way to make the Titan look like it was on its knees instead of standing, I feel like it would look slightly more realistic as if it buckled down once it got shot down.
I loved this video, but “separating myself to this part of the building” lmao you ever do manual labor or maybe cut steel? Splitting up a Warhammer figure ain’t that big a deal. Maybe I’m too laid back actually idk lmao
The only thing even wilder than you guys maiming those titans is the to-scale Imperator class titan attempt by Eric. Hats off o7! Regarding realistic ammo compartments. Just look at the Megabolter on a Warhound.^^
Haha, tabletop time should've tried to rent a workshop or something with this project! :P I feel like an industrial drill press or something would've worked better for the hole, but my god this seemed hard to do, so much work good job guys :D
Not sure why you guys didn't put the parts in a small toaster over on low heat for a few minutes(outside of course). Would have made it easier to bend, and might make some cool melted bits. Still though, looks freaking amazing.
To do a big melted hole. If you went to a blacksmith, got them to get a bit or round steel red hot and stab through the mini... just a thought, not speaking from experience. But! Be awesome content!
If there'd be no decomposing for the bodies, I'm pretty sure that means there also wouldn't be rust. But eh, it's sci-fi, who cares~! Looks awesome and that's all that matters in Warhammer.
Awe, U barely used 🔥 🥺 b4 the pliers. I can recommend the Makita 👍. Volkite tech/heat gun could've produced results, turned out AWESOME...Absolutely Inspiring...

You guys should have got Dyson as a sponsor for the video for vacuuming up all that resin after. :D
7:56. XD
Great video, lots of fun. :)

I'm pretty fatigued with it. It just doesn't feel special anymore when any 40k TH-camr buys 2-3 titans.
This is bloody awesome, in fact - I think it might just be the coolest bit you guys have done sofar. The shrine is just *chefs kiss*
"the corpse is cannon" my by far favorite quote of this video.

The roasted head looks insanely good on the finished piece. Great job Murray!

That shot went clean through the void shielding and vaporized the armour plating like they weren't even there.
That's why you don't want to wind up fighting an imperator titan like this reaver did. I like to think a mega bolter stripped the voids first though
Borderline sacrilegious but a Reaver just stood motionless, eviscerated and rusting like that is a haunting sight. Great work ladies and gents 👌
Loving the extra full scale showing at the end of the recent vids
It will be fun to see how it ends up. I also love how across YT everyone is trying something else. Midwinter Minis build a nice titan, Squidmar makes a nice Diorama and you guys build a gaming tablet. Great time to be alive.
Love you guys.
5:10 Wondering if you could have used a wood burning tool to press the parts, even if you would have burned it, it just adds to the aesthetic?
After watching this episode, I think it's time for the studio to invest in a drill press.
It sounded like this one was really tough, but gosh it turned out gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing your process with us! :D
the weathering and griming doesnt look nearly as good and convincing as the previous model, but the scultiping work looks great!
I think that ultra-rust really fits well with the story of it being on Mars for 10,000 years. Great job and great video! Looking forward to seeing the finished board.
This series just gets better and better!
I must say that other than your creations are phenomenal as is, I love how frequently the new videos come out. Lovely time being a subscriber!
You guys are really pumping through this project quickly! Looks great!
I thought I would replicate some of these techniques on my unbuilt Adeptus Titanicus minis. But even on the smaller scale this is far beyond my skill level… or beyond the amount of time I can dedicate to the hobby.
Incredible build, thank you for sharing!
I must say the start had me very sceptical - But damn this turned out so freaking awesomely!! I love it!
ok this is the coolest part of the build! Holy cow!
I feel like I breathed in a resin particle just watching this. :D
Glad you guys are showing and describing all your safety measures. It's super important in our hobby (and we're all guilty of not being careful now and again, I'm sure).
Loving this series so much, keep up the great work!
I love the way you make it look so rusty and old, such nice colors and detail
Taking all the security precaution! (plays with a torch surrounded by dry grass)
These are my favorite videos from you so far. Love this progress and you guys are so talented.
Would love to see longer episodes, maybe streams of you painting or working on some projects. Pure entertainment
Yay! Murray and Dave! 🎉 you guys have unbelievable skills
As you are now well into making titans, I have a little challenge you might like.
Scratch built an Imperator! Does not matter if it is Imperial or Chaos Preferably not blown up. Also, you may include Jazza if he feels up for it 😉
I could be tempted..m
Man that hole through looks so good! I have a reaver on its way via super heavy drop ship hope he’s here by mid week next week!! Looking forward to seeing the next stage of this!
What airbrush is that? I’ve been looking for a good airbrush that doesn’t require the compressor under my desk cos I’m strapped for space
How do they carry so many shells for the cannon?
The power of, don't think too hard about it!
as much as i like to see the diorama it still hurts my soul to see when you chop up/drill/grind such an expensive model
Hmmm - here is no air on mats so the body wouldn’t decay - proceeds to rust the Titan which is a reaction of Iron and oxygen

You guys do great work and look like you're having a blast while doing it. Love to see it.

You lot are doing amazing work on this.
I personally love breathing in resin, makes my lungs stronger

"Watch us do something wild and you relax at home."
Me, at work on break: I wish
I know you've mentioned it before but what are the swabs called that you use to remove the streaking grime?
Google Wooley Daubers for some links! Good luck
Love you guys! Can't wait to see the finished table!
This was one of the more stressful of these videos to watch. That shot with the drill bit that tore the part from the vice and the part where they shorted the power being at the top
Always remember a layer of clear varnish can help eliminate damage to your minis...
*Does not help with self inflicted damage

For the knee pad with the writing upside down, put some more candles on it etc... Maybe someone wrote the text after the battle and made a small shrine with it.
A heat gun would of made short work of allowing you to pull it apart and warp it. Try it next time.
Seeing the freehand writing makes me remember I have flexible letter stencil templates for that sort of stuff.
id of had "you should eat your vegtables" in latin and written backwards
Maybe you guys should try one day miniature painting one tank from the game, maybe, or even a diorama of a battle to celebrate the destruction upgrade! The cherry on top would be releasing TOP SECRET Australian Tank details or manuals!
Murray with a reciprocating saw... terrifying finger counting moment...
So Dave palms the dangerous jobs involving resin dust off to Murray then comes back to work on the titan and get some camera time when the danger has subsided. Nice one.
I hope they get a chance to talk to squidmar and compare titan notes from their two projects.
“We’re gonna blow the back out of this guy” Are we not doing phrasing anymore?
It looks so freaking awesome. I wonder if there was a way to make the Titan look like it was on its knees instead of standing, I feel like it would look slightly more realistic as if it buckled down once it got shot down.
Amazing work. Really enjoying this series.
This resin is usually easiest to bend in water....
This series just more and more cool the titan looks like a volcano canno board though it
bored*
@@JacopoSkydweller ah my bad my dyslexia must of kicked in
Jeebus guys, get a heat gun.
"We take safety very seriously".
Then proceeds to use a torch near dry grass.
Holy, 3:45 and on is some terribly inept tool handling.
Fire is often the answer, when you're the Salamanders.
Or Black Templars.
Or Sister of Battle.
Or the Inquisition.
You guys need to add LEDs if possible to have the candles light up the diorama. That would look amazing on a board :o
When Murray was playing with fire I REALLY wanted someone to run up with a fire extinguisher safety first! lol
Damn this came out so good that blast through looks amazing
You forgot to add the pistons on the hips leading up to the torso :(
it shall be reclaimed and reconstituted.
This is absolutely amazing, it really does look like it’s been blown to bits
Tank you for that ad
You've done it TableTop Time.
You really are Warhammer 40k.
"this is hard. And when things are hard I give up"
-Dave 2023 🤣
I love the mention of Deus Tempestus (Add dramatic music here)!
Haha, tabletop time should've tried to rent a workshop or something with this project! :P I feel like an industrial drill press or something would've worked better for the hole, but my god this seemed hard to do, so much work good job guys :D
Remember the giant laser cannon from Star Wars: the Last Jedi? That laser is probably was what caused that hole in the Reaver Titan.
Not sure why you guys didn't put the parts in a small toaster over on low heat for a few minutes(outside of course). Would have made it easier to bend, and might make some cool melted bits. Still though, looks freaking amazing.
I do think you guys wasted a lot of money but this is pretty awesome. I would’ve just 3d printed one though.
Murray, don't feel bad. I did something similar to the thigh armor of the frist knight I ever built.
The Titan looks like it got cord like an apple. Fantastic work.
I would’ve tried a heat gun to try and bend everything, but it looks fantastic!!!
This is so unbelievably cool! Great work.
Where did u guys get the portable compressor for the airbrush can't find anything similar in the UK!
I just wanna say I appreciate the dedication to the joke that every time they mention the De..BWAAAAHus Tempestus, that sound is there :)
What airbrush is that you use? Is it usb/battery powered or is that compressed air?
For all the use of being able to be easily removed, after oils and enamels dry they're damn near bullet proof.
A sodering iron would be the way to go for melting through the resin and making nice laser holes
Rule of cool, bro.
Dammmmmmmmmm that looks cool and somewhat haunting, seeing this massive giant of war stooped over and weapons hanging low.
The next tool you have to buy, a heat gun. It makes shaping resin go faster.
Loving this series but would love more to see a lil battle report on it when you’re done, I loved the last one you guys did
Loved this video!! Can’t wait to see the finished product!
Amazing AF! Still heart reaching to desecrate such an incredible expensive model but perfectly executed great video thanks for sharing 👍🍻
Watching Murray using powertools is like watching howtobasic cook an egg
*Grunting scream. Raspy shushing. Tgrows egg into toilet, stomps into toilet-egg.
Awe, U barely used 🔥 🥺 b4 the pliers. I can recommend the Makita 👍. Volkite tech/heat gun could've produced results, turned out AWESOME...Absolutely Inspiring...
I apologize for comments about the macro gatling blaster being a ballistic weopon your doing epic work here and that scene was epic with the trench
No no you're correct! Was just a shock! I genuinely thought it was a laser
