Wye Valley Walk Chepstow to Tintern

  • Following the river Wye from Chepstow to Tintern . We climbed over 2000ft in this walk and the views were amazing , we could see where the Wye joins the Severn.

    Hi, I was so impressed with your snapshot of this route from Chepstow to Tinterne via the grotto and eagles nest that I’ve posted it on the Macmillans Wye Valley Mighty Hike site ( walk is this Saturday10/09/2022) The first stage has had to be changed from the eastern side of the Wye to Tinterne via the (closed) wire bridge , to the western side depicted in your video. It’ll give those participating in the walk an excellent idea of what to expect and care to be taken when it’s wet. Thank you for posting it, it’ll help allay walkers trepidation of the unknown! Xx

      Such a beautiful walk , I loved the that Gayle thought it would be a flat river walk , like the Thames path
