- So some people have been telling me that Beyonce is a great vocalist but she's not a "Drop the mic" kind of vocalist which is basically a vocalist that could care less about "Perfection" and about being precise and just sings for the sole fact of wanting to just sing. So I made this video to show that Beyonce is absolutely in that lane. I will admit tho that she does do these type of things very rarely unlike singers like Jazmine Sullivan, Keke Wyatt, Brandy, or Kierra Sheard who exaggerate with this type of singing.

I feel like Beyonce does let go whenever she sings. I don't agree with people saying Beyonce doesn't sing anymore because that's not true. Singing is much more than belting and hitting high notes. I'll rather Beyonce take care of her voice than continue to do the same thing and ends up ruining her voice. I've seen her live twice and while she has incorporated more choreography into her performances, she still knows how to bring it vocally.
Well I have to disagree just a little, I’ve been on her 2 live shows, Formation Tour & OTR II, and have to say OTR II she was holding back, it was still a great show, but it didn’t have that sparkle she usually has. Maybe she was tired, or it wasn’t her day (it was second show in London) and her stamina was not there, so maybe she is not physically capable of doing amazing 2 shows in a row without holding back? Sometimes I forget she is a human being, just as us 😭 and she is ageing as well 😭
@@glogmat ugh yes she is aging😭😭😭but she still looks like herself in 2016-2017 and her voice is so amazing..the fact that she can still hit those extreme high notes and dance the way she does at her age still till this day. I don't think beyonce actually ages i think her age number just be going up 🤣🤣🤣🤣

When Beyoncé let's go, SHE LETS GO! I think she's smart because she doesn't do it all the time because it can be damaging to the voice. Hence why she's singing better than ever now because she takes care of her voice ;)
Seriously Rob Ikr the masses love hearing random belted notes even if they're strained af which is why dumbasses think singers like Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson are better than Beyoncé.
I think she lets go when the crowd hypes her up. For instance Brazil has one of the most hyped audience during Mrs. Carter tour so Bey played along and snatched everybody's wig that night.

I feel that ONE RESENTMENT VIDEO IN 2013/2014 WAS MORE THAN 50% bc that night it seemed she made it super personal and was sanging that directly to Jay Z that night more than others, I felt her hurt and pain through the screen and even in the end...she had to dust her shoulders off and laugh to keep the tears back.
That's cause she knows that belting like this can do damage on her chords. She's hella smart she knows when to turn it up and to play it cool. I still get goosebumps though. I still want an unexpected unplugged concert with a bunch of r&b covers lol... just a bunch of rude flat foot singing lol *keeping fingers crossed*
I slightly disagree I think Beyoncé loses it more often than we really know it's just because she has so much control and vocal excellence (that sounded so stan-ish) that her "Dropping the mic" sounds rehearsed when it's night for example All Night live at Tidal and Parkwood holiday party/Lemonade screening , all the 1+1 performances or the WDYLM performances . It's like she snaps but it sounds so perfect you'd think she rehearsed that snapping moment when in reality there's a different person that takes over when you are singing in front of thousands of people and when it's just to your crew

Just watching her at the concert in Roseland while she's pregnant blows me away! It really does show that she could so give more and i hope sooner or later she does. Her belts above f5 would be killer considering how her voice has matured, coupled with complex ad-libs and runs, they would be so resonant and full. She has the skill to pull it off, i just feel like these days she focuses too much on the visual aspect of everything. Her visuals are great, but...
I really expect her to start singing something more like those songs, vocal songs!
I can't wait for it to start happening for real in the future.
As time passes I really don't know if she will ever go back to being the vocalist as an oppose to the performer but fingers crossed I guess.

TayTay BeyNippy Her voice might loose it's pristine quality to due aging, but her stellar technique will allow her to have a voice beyond it's prime (like Patti Labelle). That technique is why she still has a stellar voice, compare to some of her peers, that experienced vocal decline early.
Beyoncé is a vocalist FIRST, when it's all said and done and she's done proving herself she'll saaang 💯💯💯
i truly wish there were more Sangers out there like this (whos able to constantly bring perfection while dancing, sanging, harmonizing, fashioning, & simply pouring their hearts upon sharing their PASSION with the world)... no1 has this girls ENERGY

Whew, the amount of times I can watch this and still have the same reactions. She’s truly one of the greatest vocalists/ performers in our generation. Having seen her twice, it’s always a spiritual and full body experience as every tour is always a seamless musical journey. I Can’t wait to experience her tour next summer for renaissance, I will be in attendance. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🤍🪐

I love when she's not worried about perfection.... and just sings.. you can tell the moments when she didn't plan how it came out and it just did, so she keeps going to see what else is coming out. She has so much control over her instrument, but sometimes her vibrato surprises even her!! AND I LIVE FOR IT!! I'm like yes BEY, give it to us, pour your soul out!

Survivor @ World Music Awards, Be With You @ Ladies First Tour, Free @ Destiny's Fulfilled. 1+1 @ Zenith France, A lot more of her Halo finale performances (The one at in Dublin during the IAT is a great example) The Beautiful Ones @ Wynn, Resentment @ Paris. A lot more of If I Were a boy performances during IAT. I can't help myself during the @ IAT....Still a great video nonetheless!
Allot of the performances you named are very over used by youtubers "me included" And I'm not really a fan of If I Were A Boy's arrangement from the IAT I think the best was during the Mrs Carter Tour. I also didn't want to use any professionally filmed videos. And the last thing I didn't want to use is live versions of songs that are sung exactly the same they're sung in studio like "Be With You" "Free" and "Me Myself & I" all of those are sung exactly the same aside from changing some riffs or runs she doesn't really play with the range of the song she doesn't raise the key or lower it. Like she did with the "Baby" break down in 1+1 that I used here where she managed to include F5's and with the Climax "I Rather Die Young" which she did that sustained E5. Adding notes that don't exist in the original version is something she's never done with songs like "Be With You" "Free" and "Me Myself & I".

Anytime she sings covers im always left in astonishment. From her Stevie wonder tribute, precious lord, the beautiful ones, you outta know, sweet love, fever, star spangled banner at the superbowl, ex factor, sex on fire, ect....... and yet I'm not really a fan of her anytime she sings her own songs. I don't know why she chooses such mediocre songs to sing for herself when she can sing ballads better then the original singers...apart from the obvious halo, listen, DIL, 1+1, resentment..... for 6 full albums she doesn't really have THAT many vocally impressive songs considering she is the best vocal technician to ever hit a stage.... and the songs i mentioned arn't even that impressive in the studio versions.. its the way she does them live that leaves me speechless. WHY? can someone give this chick a better song writer.
SacredTankX you obviously haven't done much exploration of her catalog. A song doesn't have to be a ballad to show off vocal prowess, in fact a lot of her Up Tempos require a certain amount of vocal skill that 99% of vocalists don't possess. Furthermore she's her own songwriter, and isn't focused solely on vocals anymore. It's more the message and visual now.
