Something that has to be mentioned is that Munkidori is actually very good in Gardevoir EX lists. You are able to damage yourself every turn, essentially turning Munkidori into a Bench 30 damage every turn. Along with that, Munkidori takes out the need for Hero's cape, since with Munkidori + 100 Damage on Drifloon it's 330 on Charizard to one tap it. It's super easy to add a Munkidori + 2 Dark Energy, you draw your deck super quickly, so having it helps. It was used recently by Gardevoir Players, but it'll take time to see if it becomes standard
for the pinsir card we have had cards like that before i believe it was a hisuian zoroark but if ur opponent switches out their active the whole effect is gone but if u switch the pinsir with something else the effect still stays its aslong as your opponents active stays as the active for their turn then its knocked out
Can I mention: Poltchageist ex on its own is mediocre however there is also a baby poltchageist that reads 1 energy to do 70x for each grass energy you discard from your pokemon so you swing 210 with the baby and then recover it all with the ex and use Ogerpon to accelerate the energy. It won’t be broken but it could absolutely be an ok rogue deck we may see here and there
With pinsir it won’t effect a switched out Pokémon, I played galarian Slowking v because it did the same but eventually was told it won’t affect the new Pokemon
NEW VID, if night slash plays PTCG live i would love to see vid's of new decks but i understand if he wants to keep the format of his vid's the same (LOVE THE CONTENT THOUGH!!!!!!!!)
I only recently started playing so I am missing quite a large chunk of staple cards to build certain decks. Mainly been playing with Chien-pao. I have considered doing some TCG Live videos but will have to see.
Pinsir says "the defending pokemon" meaning if the opponent switches out of the active spot, the effect goes away and doesn't effect the new active, or the pokemon that switched out. If the defending pokemon stays active and pinsir is knocked out, the effect still works. We've seen these kinds of attacks before, but they're never very good
Hisuian Zoroark is a Stage 1, always gotta remember higher evolution cards will of course have better attacks! Either way, both the Pinsir and the Hisuian Zoroark are bad, you can just switch to avoid it.
i think you are overestimating gren the setup is to much in contrast of what you are getting out of it. its the same as garchomp ex where everbody thought something could be done with it. however the damage output is higher than with chomp and the second attack is also stronger. its good for sure, I see it as a 1-1 line in chien poaw but nothing more, especially as long as manaphy exists

also for the arcanine and zoroark deck idea the radiant alakazam only moves from your opponents pokemon

I did talk about the other Sinistcha later on in the video.

When does this card release for TCG live?
The set releases on the 24th of May, so roughly around that time I assume.
That Pinsir is literally just a worse version of Hisuian Zoroark, who's attack has the same effect except it uses no energy.
