according to a TH-cam video showing the people that made it there was supposed to be a thousand made. retail price was set around 350 to $400.. came out around 2015..
Great sound btw. Just building the fanhome kitt . Without the extra mods.im still glad that people like you know the passion with kitt. Thx for sharing your video 🫶🏼🥰

I paid 60.00 for the regular Hot Wheels model a few years back. It doesn't have any working anything but looks great

I never knew this existed also. I was considering looking up for one to purchase but after you said a brand new one cost from $1000 to $1800…forget it. -Hopefully there will be another coming to retail stores just like it.
You never know you could Luck out and find a used one for cheap. No collector price quote means anything:-) that's just what I occasionally see them for on eBay.. the MSRP was 350- 400ish i think.

Have you heard? There’s an Ultimate Lightning McQueen app control vehicle with LED screen for a windshield. It’s about the same size as this KITT.
I got mine from Toys “R” Us for about $119 when they were liquidating their inventory. Now you got me wondering what it’s going for on the secondary market.

My charging station rusted out. Is there a way to charge the battery in the car?
I just opened it up and took out the old battery.. it wasn't really holding the good charge anyways it's so tiny! I just ran a couple wires to the backseat and plugged up a 18650 battery.. 8 months now.. haven't had to charge it yet! I don't even use the stand. You can fit a smaller battery inside the car body hidden.. but I had a few 18650s around and the plastic 18650 holders fit tight In the back seat.. to me looks like luggage lol

What are you talkin about? There's more than one Kitt man.. changes all the time in the show.. nailing down every aspect of it is tough.. nobody has yet.. calling at the worst model ever is silly.. but it's your opinion so you're welcome to it
