i've had this name since 1991 and it comes from 2 ideas.
When I did the first recordings with the TOTO guys in 1991 it was meant to be my solo album but I decided to call it by a project name....it isn't a band, just my solo project!
So as a KISS fan I thought of the opening song from Gene Simmons 1978 solo album called Radioactive...and the great AIRPLAY album by David Foster and Jay Graydon.
AIRPLAY was their hope of writing big hits that would be played a lot on radio = getting airplay. (which they did BTW!)
So i liked the little danger in being radioactive...but also if I did great music it would be ACTIVE on the RADIO :D
