    Hello Katie, its a pleasure to meet you. I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina and I've played guitar for fun all my life. Not very well, but i do enjoy myself when i do it. I'm a great fan of George Harrison who loved ukeleles, and always wanted to try. I bought my first uke a few weeks ago, not a very good one, but good enough to learn how to play a little. Found the chords online and started trying to play some beatle songs i know how to play the guitar. But something was missing. You. You are a great teacher and I cant thank you enough for all I'm learning with your videos.

    Thank you for your lessons. I am. having a little trouble keeping up with you, but I keep trying. I try to play hymns from 2 hymnals I have looking upon Search what chords to play, going with easy chords certain chords I have trouble with, but I still try.

    Katie its Don in Florida, I enjoy the lesson today but I have to admit I'm not too coordinated with the thumb on the "and" up stroke part lol. It looks like it should be so easy to do but I get tongue-tied or should I say thumb tied LOL I'll keep practicing it but I love your lessons thank you🎶

    • @OneMusicSchool
      @OneMusicSchool  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh you're not alone on this one at all :). It took me FOREVER to coordinate the "strum" up with the thumb". One I got it, I never went back. Good to see you in the comments again.

    Loving the series but this definitely is too big a step for me. I just learned about the island strums and know I’m supposed to do variations 😂😂 Not happening ! I’ll check out next video but I suppose I’m just not a musician enough for strumming !

    Thank you so much for explain the rythym and counting along with it. I gave a question? I am praciticing the song The Stand by Hillsong and the strumming pattern given was D UDUD UDUD DU, how could I divide that stemming pattern to fit into a 4/4? Thank you Katie for your help with all these videos may God continue to bless you and use you. Adriana Solis

      Yes! The chord diagrams will be different from the uke diagrams shown in the videos, but the main concepts are the same. If you play the chords on the guitar along with me during the play alongs, they match.
