@derricknyakundi1985 to be honest i think android 14 to me is a lot more smoother than 5.1 and the animations have been fixed it's going great so far, perhaps you should install the latest version of android on your device to see and experience it for yourself trust me you'll enjoy it 💯👊🏿👍🏿
I've been vindicated today. Just tested a samsung S23 ultra running OneUI 6.0 same ram and storage with my S22 ultra ( 12/256 ) running OneUI 5.1 and my S22 ultra was faster more smooth and better. Never felt more happy than today and I truly thank Jehovah God in Jesus's Christ Mighty Name for giving me this marvelous phone!
Thanks! Just updated from the Samsung app store. My problem was that when I uninstalled an app from the home page, it reverted my task bar apps to 4, instead of the six apps I had it set for in Goodlock. It now works just like it used too.
That's almost exactly what mine is doing, the only difference is, I have my task bar set to nine, but I only keep seven on it, then when I uninstall an app, it reverts back to five, and then it drops off the two app icons it moved from the task bar to random empty spots on my home screen pages that I have to go hunting for. Glad to see it wasn't just mine doing that.
Finally I got my other features back from good luck on home up and I did download that APK I think that's what updated that module to the other recent cards thanks Jimmy😊
I can confirm the s24 plus is indeed smoother after the update. Animations are a touch slower. Some random hiccups and dropped frames have also been resolved.
The Home Up app is still broken. Under the Scroll category, great features like "Finder Access" & "Apps List" are still missing. I just hope the next update brings them back and not totally gotten rid of like Samsung sometimes does😏

Another update that we need is QuickStar, which should have a feature to remove the Smart View and Device control buttons in the Quick settings panel. Why are they there? I suppose they want them to be there to fill the empty space after everything has been moved up. It would also be nice to be able to remove the Eye comfort and Dark Mode buttons, as most of us don't need them.
In the Z Fold 5, the Task Changer remains the same, without enabling the other Layout types, despite the Home update. I suppose it must be a widespread issue for foldable devices. I hope they release a patch soon to fix this.
@@vhack41 yes, just go into the galaxy store and it should be in your updates section. But you can also search for the app in the Galaxy store and it might trigger the update. I didn’t have to do any of those things because the update popped up in my notification tray. I have a Samsung galaxy S22 Ultra Unlocked directly from Samsung.
Home Up in the Folder section, I noticed they took away Folder Icon under Folder Grid. I really hope this comes back. My Folders looked so much better. Not the biggest deal in the world but it was really cool to be able to style the appearance of them to the extreme.
They should put the adjustment to animation instead of hiding it to developer option. Not everyone is capable of enabling the dev option as some applications requires it to be disabled e.g., banking app

I learned about homescreen looping/infinite homescreen scrolling with my first Android which was a Galaxy Lite. My second Samsung, which I got the first part of the year, doesn't have it now. WHAT HAPPENED? The only other brand I've used that has/had it was LG. That was one of the best features. Now I have to install another launcher like Microsoft Launcher in order to get the feature.

The navigation buttons on my Galaxy A13 5G are very buggy if this update becomes available for all one UI devices the navigation buttons really need to be fixed even my Galaxy A10e has the same issues but it's also having problems with the screen to the screen is not very sensitive but the weather widget really isn't bugged so if Samsung can fix the navigation buttons that would be addressed by updating one UI home

Yeah, I feel like all of the animations are- harder to swipe up on the stack animation and its slower- there's also no more bounce on the edge of the recent apps. I prefer the OneUI 5 Task Changer

Hello! I installed Samsung One UI Home Launcher 15.0.05.5 on an s22 ultra with one ui 6 and the icons became small as in one ui 5.1, they are no longer large. How do I make them big again, I'm referring to the application screen grid where I was using 5x7. How do I get them big again? Thank you!

In the vertical list of recent tab, we are NOT able to close the older ones directly by swiping up... That is one to fix, but a good start!

You can try if you like. Wouldn't do it if it doesn't have issues. But if it's not compatible, it just won't install. Haven't tried yet
