- I saw an N64 game on marketplace, asked if they had any more games and hit this jackpot I couldn't pass up. Always ask if they have anything else not listed yet and you might get lucky.

@@NintendoCollecting yeah, especially because my favorite garage sale app basically got shut down. Plus, it’s hard to find things like GameCube and N64 games at garage sales right now.

@@NintendoCollecting it’s called Yard Sale Treasure Map. It’s still available, but it cut its deal with Craigslist so now it’s only user posted garage sales.
Good find, I found a Jungle Green console + controller at the thrift shop a while ago and it came with the Expansion Pack 🤔 they were probably playing DK64 or MM.
Completely agree with this. No harm in asking and even if it's only something small, an extra game or controller is always nice to have.

As someone who owned a 64 with a small tall of games for ages by now, it is always a bit shocking how everything is increasing in the prizes nowadays. Pokemon Snap for instance I got for 5€ back in the mid 2000's (gotta admit, I think I was kinda lucky there xD), but in generell I remember the prices being about 10-20€ each; 25-30€ for the really expensive ones -- exceptions.
Sure, it's not _that_ big of a leap (yet), but interesting none the less. I guess I just took the low prices for old stuff for granted and totally forgot, that increase in value is a thing ;D
once you have four color matching controllers just make sure you don't ruin them immediately by playing mario party
That would have been the luxurious dream in the late 90s... the opposite of a reality where all the kids on the block scrounged-together any console, games, & controllers they shared between them. Little brother as “Player 4” w/ the oddly-shaped Madcatz & all.
Mario Party 1, in particular. Those minigames'll _decimate_ your stick.

Not Bad of a Deal...I recently got off of market place a cool lot...4 n64 controllers, 1 fire orange, 2 jungle green, 1 atomic purple, Mario party 2, Mickey speedway , Sega saturn an 1 controller, virtual fighter, Sega genesis model 2 with 5 games and a game gear with 7 games.. $120 bucks dude wanted.. I snatched it as fast as I could didn't bother negotiating 👍😁👍
That's how I got my Fire Orange N64 with the matching controller I asked if the system came with the games and got it as a throw in with 4 games for $60 crazy score

I never owned a Nintendo 64, but I can still experience retro tracks in Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8 & Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
I love Mario Kart for that. I wish Mario Party did the same

$400 isn’t even that bad IMO. 4 controllers, 10 games and the system with all their cables..... sounds like a solid price IMO
I bought my grape purple N64 as a bundle with my choice of 2 games that the seller had available. I got Star Wars Episode I Racer and Banjo-Tooie with the system for $100. And I remember from the photos on the listing, the seller had 2 copies of Banjo-Tooie.
Funny, out of all of those games, Excitebike 64 was always one of my favorites. Also, I think you needed the expansion pack in order to run this game. I'm not 100% sure though.
I wish I had Money to collect those right now but i sadly do not!! i need to save money up again!! hopefully maybe i could get back into it !!

I have PKMN snap, I have Mario Kart 64, I have Banjo-Kazzoie, DK64, and Goldeneye. For some reason I don't have a Super Mario 64 Cart...
I just bought a n64 from a pawn shop for 75 with all the connections but no games, and I also got a transfer pack for game boy games but I can’t find any big name games near me like paper Mario or super Mario 64 or Pokémon stadium, Pokémon red green yellow or blue
If it's 400 CAD then it's around 250-270 euros which is crazy for all the stuff you got

Garage sales, flea markets and patiently lookong locally online is your best bet on places like Facebook marketplace and mercari

When you buy rare consoles say off of ebay. How can you tell between japanese and north america n64 gold ones and stuff
The bottom of the system has a sticker of information on it that will either say JAP or USA
